Հայ ըմբիշը նվաճեց Օլիմպիական խաղերի մասնակցության ուղեգիր

Սերբիայի Զրենյանին քաղաքում ապրիլի 15-ից մեկնարկած Օլիմպիական խաղերի վարկանշային ըմբշամարտի մրցաշարում Հայաստանի ներկայացուցիչ ըմբիշները սկսել են պայքարը:«Արմենպրես»-ը հայտնում է, որ մրցելույթներ են ունեցել ազատ ոճային ըմբիշներ Գառնիկ Մնացականյանը (57 կգ), Դավիթ Սաֆարյանը (65 կգ) և հունահռոմեական ոճի ըմբիշ Ռոման Ամոյանը (59 կգ):
Մրցագորգում իրեն լավագույն կողմերով է դրսևորել 57 կգ քաշային ազատ ոճի ըմբիշ Մնացականյանը, ով եզրափակչում հանդես գալու հնարավորություն ստացավ: Ըստ Սերբիայում ընթացող վարկանշային մրցաշարի կանոնակարգի՝ Օլիմպիական խաղերի ուղեգրեր նվաճելու են միայն եզրափակչի մասնակիցները, այնպես որ անկախ եզրափակիչ մրցելույթից Մնացականյանը, ով եզրափակիչ հասնելու ճանապարհին հաղթել էր իտալացի, թուրք և մոլդովացի մրցակիցներին, Հայաստանի համար օլիմպիական խաղերի ուղեգիր նվաճեց:
Իրենց հնարավորություններից ցածր հանդես եկան Աշխարհի ու Եվրոպայի նախկին չեմպիոն, 65 կգ քաշային ազատ ոճի ըմբիշ Սաֆարյանը և 2016 թ.-ի Եվրոպայի փոխչեմպիոն, հունահռոմեական ոճի 59 կգ քաշային ըմբիշ Ամոյանը: Սաֆարյանը հունգարացի ըմբիշի դեմ մրցաշարում իր մղած առաջին մարտում հաջողության հասավ, սակայն 1/4 եզրափակիչ փուլում հաղթեց Ռումինիայի ներկայացուցիչ մրցակցին՝ դուրս գալով կիսաեզրափակիչ փուլ: Այս փուլի արգելքը, սակայն, անհաղթահարելի էր Սաֆարյանի համար. հայ ըմբիշը պարտվեց Լեհաստանի ներկայացուցչին՝ հնարավորություն ստանալով պայքարել ոչ թե Օլիմպ իական խաղերի ուղեգրի, այլ մրցաշարում բրոնզե մեդալ նվաճելու համար:
Հունահռոմեական ոճի փորձառու ըմբիշ Ամոյանը մրցաշարում պայքարը սկսեց որակավորման փուլից, որտեղ տոնեց առաջին հաղթանակը՝ առավելության հասնելով Ռունինիայի ներկայացուցիչ մրցակցի նկատմամբ: Ցավալիորեն, հունահռոմեական ոճի ըմբիշը պարտվեց հաջորդ իսկ փուլում՝ 1/8 եզրափակչում՝ զիջելով բուլղարացի մրցակցին և լքելով պայքարը:
