Գյումրու քաղաքապետին շնորհվել է Սիանի պատվավոր քաղաքացու կոչում

Գյումրու քաղաքապետ Սամվել Բալասանյանը ճանաչվել է Սիանի պատվավոր քաղաքացի: Գյումրու քաղաքապետին այս կոչումը կշնորհվի սեպտեմբերին Չինաստանի Ժողովրդական Հանրապետության Սիան քաղաքում կայանալիք «Մետաքսի ճանապարհի» երկրների տնտեսական ֆորումից հետո, որին մասնակցելու հրավերը Գյումրու քաղաքապետը ստացավ ապրիլի 15-ին Գյումրի այցելած Սիանի պատվիրակության կողմից:
Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, պատվիրակությունը Գյումրիում մասնակցելու է երաժիշտ կատարողների «Վերածնունդ» միջազգային ամենամյա փառատոնին: Մինչ փառատոնին մասնակցելը, պատվիրակությունը Սիանի ժողովրդական կոնգրեսի կրթության, գիտության, մշակույթի, առողջապահության բաժնի պետ Վեի Դոնգմեիի գլխավորությամբ հանդիպում ունեցավ Գյումրու քաղաքային իշխանությունների հետ: Վերջիններս հույս հայտնեցին, որ համագործակցությունը կխորանա հատկապես մշակույթի և զբոսաշրջության ոլորտներում: Ի ապացույց դրա` պատվիրակության ղեկավարը սեպտեմբերին Սիան հրավիրեց նաև Գյումրիից լարային նվագախմբի:
«Մենք անչափ ուրախ ենք, որ «Մետաքսի ճանապարհի» երկրների շարքում նաև երկու քաղաքները` Գյումրին և Սիանն են փորձում խորացնել իրենց հարաբերությունները: Ի ուրախություն մեզ` 2015 թվականի սեպտեմբերին Գյումրու և Սիանի տեխնոպարկերն արդեն կնքել են համագործակցության պայմանագիր: Իսկ այժմ մենք ցանկանում ենք նաև համագործակության ծրագրեր իրականացնել մշակույթի և զբոսաշրջության ոլորտում»,- նշեց տիկին Վեի Դոնգմեին:
Գյումրու քաղաքապետը շնորհակալություն հայտնեց իրեն շնորհված Սիանի պատվավոր քաղաքացի կոչման և հրավերքի համար` հույս հայտնելով, որ երկու քաղաքներն այսուհետ կունենան ավելի գործնական համագործակցական ծրագրեր:
2015 թվականի հունիսի 8-ին Գյումիում կայացավ Գյումրի-Սիան ֆորումը, որի շրջանակում Գյումրին և Սիանը դարձան քույր քաղաքներ: Գյումրի քաղաքապետ Սամվել Բալասանյանի և Չինաստանի Ժողովրդական հանրապետեւթյան Սիան քաղաքի քաղաքապետ Դոն Ցզյունի ստորագրությամբ վավերացվեց երկու քաղաքների միջև դեռ 2013 թվականին ստեղծված համագործակցութոյւնը:
