Աշոտ Ասատրյանը Ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.
Ապրիլյան պատերազմներից հետո մի հարց է մնում օդում կախված՝ մենք հաղթել ենք, թե՞ պարտվել: Որոշ մարդկանց համար հաղթելը դա նոր տարածքներ գրավելն է, որոշների համար ներկա տարածքները չկորցնելը: Երկու դեպքում էլ ճշմարտություն կա, նայած որ կողմից ես նայում հարցին: Ապրիլի 2-ին մենք չենք հարձակվել, մեր առաջ խնդիր դրված չի եղել, մեր միակ խնդիրը , որ դրված է անկախ սահմանի լարվածությունից, դա երկրի սահմանները պահելն է: Մեզ ուրիշի հողը պետք չի , մենք ուրիշի ունեցվածքին աչք չենք դնում , թողեք մերը մեզ:
Ապրիլի սկզբին թշնամին հարձակվում է, իր առաջ նպատակ դնելով նենգաբար գրավել մեր հողը: Ծանր մարտերից հետո հողը գրավել չի հաջողվում: Գրավում է մեկ-երկու բլուր, որոնք ռազմավարական նշանակություն չունեն ոչ մեզ , ոչ իրենց համար: Մենք պահում ենք մեր երկրի սահմանները, ամուր կանգնած ենք այդ հողի վրա:
Տարածքներ գրավում են հարձակվողները, որոնք մի խումբ ահաբեկիչների հետ հարձակվում են գիշերով ու անակնկալի են բերում հակարակորդի 18 տարեկան արծիվներին: Այդ նրանք պետք է տարածքներ գրավեին և այդ ամենը հաղթանակ կոչեին: Իսկ ի՞նչ պետ է անեինք մենք: Պաշտպանեինք ու պահպանեինք: Մեր զինվորները դա արել են գերազանց, զոհելով անգամ ամենաթանգը՝ իրենց կյանքը: Կռվել են մինչև վերջ, առանց փախնելու, առանց վախի, մեկը մյուսի կյանքը փրկելով:
Արցախն իր տեղում է: Ստեփանակերտը կանգուն: Արցախցին գնում է աշխատանքի, երեկոյան զբոսնում է Ստեփանակերտի հրապարակում...: Թշնամին ունի մի քանի անգամ ավել զոհ ու տեխնիկական կորուստ: Մենք նույնպես ունենք զոհեր...Ցավում ենք ու հպարտանում: Բայց ո՞վ է ասել , որ հողը պահելը, այն էլ թուրքից , հնարավոր է առանց զոհերի: Մեր հայրերն էլ գնացին մի քանի տարի առաջ, մի մասը հետ չեկավ: Ազատագրեցին մեր հողը:
Համաձայն եմ դաժան ճակատագիր ունենք: 100 տարին մեկ անգամ թուրքը հիշացնում է իր մասին: Բայց դե հայի բախտ է, ի՞նչ արած:
