Բրիտանական հեղինակավոր BBC պարբերականը, որն այս օրերին շարունակում է ուշադրության կենտրոնում պահել ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական շփման գծում ծավալվող գործողությունները, հարցազրույց է վերցրել առաջնագծում ծառայող հայ զինվորից` Վլադիմիր Արմանի Մկրտչյանից: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, զինվորը պատմել է, որ զորակոչվել է բանակ երկու ամիս առաջ, իսկ դիրքերում է արդեն մոտ մեկ շաբաթ: «Ստացվեց այնպես, որ իմ` դիրքեր բարձրանալու հենց առաջին իսկ ժամանակահատվածում մենք հրետանու` «Հաուբիցի» վրա էինք: Ես նշանառու եմ: Ինձ տալիս են նշանաթիվ, անկյունաչափ ու մակարդակ, և մենք կրակում ենք հենց այդ կոորդինատներով»,- հայտնել է Մկրտչյանը:
Պատմելով ադրբեջանական կողմից հարձակման առաջին օրվա մասին` զինվորը նշել է. «Այդ օրը հրանոթների մոտ էինք, պարապմունքներ էինք անցկացնում: Մեզնից քիչ հեռու արկ ընկավ. բնականաբար մոտ 10-15 րոպե խուճապի մեջ էինք, հետո հավաքվեցինք: Մեզ հրաման տվեցին, որ մենք էլ կրակենք»:
Վլադիմիր Մկչտչյանն ընդգծել է, որ պատերազմական գործողությունների ժամանակ զգում ես քո վրա ընկած պատասխանատվությունը: «Կարող է մի փոքր, օրինակ, շեղում տաս, և դա արդեն 10-15 կմ շեղում կլինի: Այսինքն քո մի փոքր սխալի պատճառով կարող ես արկը գցել հենց քո դիրքերի վրա»,- ասել է նա:
Զինվորը ներկայացրել է այն վայրը, որտեղ դիրքերում մնում են, վառարանը, որով տաքանում են ու որը, նրա իսկ խոսքերով, իրենց փրկությունն է, քանի որ գիշերները շատ ցուրտ է լինում: Մկրտչյանը փաստում է, որ գիշերները չեն հասցնում քնել, քանի որ ամեն երկու ժամը մեկ հերթափոխ են ունենում:
«Իհարկե, մեր դիմաց մեզ նման, մեր տարիքակից զինվորներ են կանգնած: Նրանք էլ մեզ պես մարդիկ են, սակայն պատերազմի ժամանակ կան բաներ, որոնց մասին չես ուզում մտածել, ուղղակի հրաման ես կատարում, քանի որ գիտես, որ այդ պահին դա է ճիշտը: Ինձ համար տարբերություն չկա, որ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետությունը ճանաչված չէ: Մենք կռվում ենք մեր հողի համար»,- եզրափակել է նա:
