Աշխատանքային այցով ԱՄՆ-ում է Դավիթ Տոնոյանի գլխավորած պատվիրակությունը

Հուլիսի 27-ից 31-ը աշխատանքային այցով ԱՄՆ-ում է գտնվում ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարի առաջին տեղակալ Դավիթ Տոնոյանի գլխավորած պատվիրակությունը. տեղեկացնում է ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարության տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունը:
Հուլիսի 27-ին Դավիթ Տոնոյանը և ՄԱԿ-ում ՀՀ մշտական ներկայացուցիչ, դեսպան Զոհրաբ Մնացականյանը Միացյալ Ազգերի Կազմակերպության կենտրոնակայանում հանդիպումներ են ունեցել ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարի օրենքի գերակայության և անվտանգության կառույցների հարցերով փոխտեղակալ Դմիտրի Տիտովի և ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարի ռազմական գրասենյակի շտաբի պետ, բրիգադի գեներալ Ահամեդ Մոհամմեդի հետ:
Հանդիպումների ընթացքում քննարկվել են ՄԱԿ-ի խաղաղապահ առաքելություններին ՀՀ ՊՆ խաղաղապահ ստորաբաժանումների և հայ սպաների՝ որպես ռազմական դիտորդ ու շտաբային սպաներ մասնակցությանն առնչվող հարցեր: ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարի առաջին տեղակալ Դավիթ Տոնոյանը նշել է, որ Հայաստանը շարունակելու է ակտիվորեն ներգրավված լինել միջազգային անվտանգության ապահովման գործողություններում և ավելացնել իր աջակցությունը ՄԱԿ-ի խաղաղապահ առաքելություններին:
ՄԱԿ-ի պաշտոնյաները բարձր են գնահատել հայ խաղաղապահների ծառայությունը ՅՈՒՆԻՖԻԼ-ի կազմում՝ նշելով, որ Հայաստանի նման գործընկերները անհրաժեշտ են ՄԱԿ-ի խաղաղապահ գործողություններում:
ՄԱԿ-ի կենտրոնակայանում կայացած հանդիպումների ընթացքում քննարկվել են նաև փոխադարձ հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող այլ հարցեր:
ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարության պատվիրակությունը ԱՄՆ աշխատանքային այցի ընթացքում կմասնակցի հայ-ամերիկյան հերթական պաշտպանական խորհրդակցություններին և երկկողմ հանդիպումներ կունենա ԱՄՆ պաշտպանության դեպարտամենտի, պետդեպարտամենտի և ազգային անվտանգության խորհրդի պաշտոնյաների հետ:
