ՀՀ ԶՈւ գլխավոր շտաբի պետի տեղակալ, Արցախի պաշտպանության նախկին նախարար Մովսես Հակոբյանը, «Ազատություն» ռադիոկայանի կիրակնօրյա վերլուծականի ժամանակ անդրադառնալով ադրբեջանական լրատվամիջոցների լուրերին, թե իբրև Մովսես Հակոբյանը ծանր վիրավոր է, ասաց, որ «ինչպես տեսնում եք ես ողջ ու առողջ եմ, ինձ սպանել կամ վիրավորելը բավականին դժվար է, որովհետև ես բավական երկար ժամանակ զինվորական ծառայություն եմ անցնում և ամբողջ ծառայությունս եղել եմ պատերազմի գոտում»:
Նա վստահեցրեց, որ գյուղեր բնակավայրեր չեն ավերվել, և հիմնականում մեծ վնաս է կրել Թալիշ գյուղը, որը շատ մոտ է եղել ռազմական գործողություներին, մնացած բոլոր ուղղություններում Զինված ուժերը ժամանակին կարողացել են կանխել բնակավայրերի ռմբակոծությունը:
Ըստ նրա՝ Ադրբեջանը սկսել է պատերազմին պատրաստվել դեռևս 1994 թվականի զինադադարի կնքումից հետո և ավելի ակտիվ սկսել է այդ գործով զբաղվել վերջին 7-8 տարիներին:
«Այսօրվա երիտասարդներն էլ ապացուցեցին, որ իրենք այն տղաների զավակներն են, որ 1994 թվականին հաղթանակ են կերտել և փոխանցել իրենց և իրենք իրենց այսօրվա գործողություններով ապացուցեցին, որ առավել են, քան 92-94 թվականի ավագ սերունդը»,-ասաց նա:
Մովսես Հակոբյանը նշեց, որ առաջին գծում տեղի ունեցածի ժամանակ ադրբեջանական կողմը Թուրքիայում հատուկ պատրաստված են եղել, իսկ մեր առաջին գծում այսօր հերթապահություն են իրականացնում պարտադիր զինվորական ծառայության զորակոչված զինվորները և մասամբ՝ պայմանագրային զինծառայողները:
Մովսես Հակոբյանը կարևորեց հասարակության համախմբվածությունը բանակի շուրջ, և նշեց, որ հայ զինվորը պարտադրեց բոլորին համախմվել երկրի հայրենիքի շուրջ: «Ամեն մի քաղաքացի պետք է համարի, որ հայրենիքի հանդեպ իր պարտքի կատարումը դա պարտականություն է՝ թե՛ զինվորական ծառայություն կատարելու, և թե՛ հարկերը վճարելու ժամանակ»,-ասաց նա:
