Չեք հավատա, սակայն երբ շրջում էինք Թալիշով և սեփական աչքով տեսնում ազերիների վայրագության հետևանքները, մեզ մոտեցավ տարեց մի մարդ և հյուրասիրության առաջարկ արեց՝ նշելով, թե ճիշտ է, տնից փլատակներ են մնացել, բայց հաստատ մի տեղ կգտնվի, ուր կարող ենք նստել և ավելի հաճելի թեմաների մասին զրույցի բռնվենք: Ձեռքի վրա նկատեցինք մի սպի, բացատրեց, որ 90-ականներից մնացած հիշողություն է, երբ գերի էր ընկել, այն նաև հիշեցնում է, թե ովքեր են հարևանները և ինչու է պետք մշտապես զգոն լինել: Մյուս ուշագրավ դրվագը Թալիշից: Թշնամու արձակած արկից լրջորեն վնասվել էր ռազմական մեր բեռնատարներից մեկի առջևի մասը: Չորս զինվորական ակտիվ լծվել էին վերանորոգման աշխատանքներին: Հարցրեցինք, արդյոք հնարավոր չէ վնասված մասերը փոխել: Պատասխանը ապշեցնող էր: Բա մենք ինչի համար ենք: Ինչու պետք է մի քանի հարյուր հազար դրամ ծախսենք և սպասենք: Միայն այս երկու դրվագը թերևս բավարար են, որպեսզի լիարժեք պատկերացում կազմենք մեր սահմաններն անառիկ պահողների ոգու մասին:
