Թուրքիայի եւ Իսրայելի հարաբերությունները նորմալացնելու գծով երկու երկրների միջեւ բանակցությունները հասել են զգալի առաջընթացի:

Այս մասին, ինչպես հաղորդում է«Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնում է Reuters լրատվական գործակալությունը:

Թուրքիայի ԱԳՆ կայքը հայտնում է, որ այդ երկրի ԱԳՆ խորհրդական դեսպան Ֆերիդուն Սինիրլիօղլուն ապրիլի 8-ին Լոնդոնում հանդիպել է Իսրայելի վարչապետի հատուկ ներկայացուցիչ Յոզեֆ Կիչանովերի եւ Իսրայելի ազգային անվտանգության խորհրդի փոխնախագահ Յակոբ Նագելի հետ: Հանդիպմանը մասնակցել են նաեւ նրանց գլխավորությամբ երկու երկրների պատվիրակությունները:

Ըստ կայքի` բանակցությունների ընթացքում կողմերը պայմանավորվել են, որ համաձայնությունը վերջնականորեն պետք է ձեւակերպվի հաջորդ հանդիպման ժամանակ, որը ծրագրվում է անցկացնել մոտ ժամանակում:

Իսրայելի եւ Թուրքիայի միջեւ հարաբերությունները խզվել են 2010 թվականի մայիսի վերջին Գազայի հատված մարդասիրական օգնություն փոխադրող «Ազատության նավաշարասյան» կազմում թուրքական «Մավի Մարմարա» նավի հետ կապված միջադեպից հետո: Նավը չէր ենթարկվել ստուգում անցնելու իսրայելյան մաքսավորների պահանջին, ինչի պատճառով իսրայելյան զինվորական դեսանտի արձակած կրակոցներից զոհվել են նավում գտնվող 9 թուրք քաղաքացիներ:

Իսրայելն ու Թուրքիան անցյալում եղել են ռազմավարական գործընկերներ, սակայն նրանց հարաբերություններն սկսել էին սառել այն բանից հետո, երբ Թուրքիան իր արտաքին քաղաքականությունը եվրոպական ինտեգրումից վերաուղղել է աշխարհում արաբա-մուսուլմանական դիրքերի ամրապնդմանը:
