Պանամայի նախագահ Խուան Կառլոս Վարելան հայտարարել Է փորձագետների միջազգային հանձնախմբի ստեղծման պլանների մասին՝ երկրի ֆինանսական համակարգը թափանցիկ դարձնելու համար, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով BBC-ին:
«Պանամայի կառավարությունն արտաքին գործերի նախարարության միջոցով կստեղծի անկախ հանձնախումբ՝ պանամացի եւ միջազգային փորձագետներից»,- ասել Է Վարելան հեռուստաուղերձի ժամանակ:
Նրա խոսքով՝ փորձագետները պետք Է ուսումնասիրեն գործող պրակտիկան եւ առաջարկեն միջոցներ, որոնք կօգնեն մեծացնել ֆինանսական եւ օրենսդրական կառուցվածքի թափանցիկությունը:
«Մենք թուլ չենք տա, որ զանգվածային լրատվամիջոցներում ուռճացված իրադրությունը որոշի մեր երկրի ճակատագիրը: Մենք սովորել ենք մեր դրությունը քննարկել ոչ թե մամուլի միջոցով, այլ լուրջ երկխոսությունների ընթացքում»,- հայտարարել Է նախագահը:
Անցյալ շաբաթ աշխարհի խոշորագույն զանգվածային լրատվամիջոցներում հայտնվեցին փաստաթղթեր, որոնցում նշված Է, որ Կանադայի Mossack Fonseca ընկերությունը մի շարք դեպքերում սպասարկյալներին օգնել Է «լվանալու» փողեր, խուսափելու պատժամիջոցներից եւ հարկերից:
Փաստաթղթում հիշատակվում են պետությունների 72 ներկայիս եւ նախկին ղեկավարներ, ինչպես նաեւ բարձրաստիճան պետական պաշտոնյաներ, գործարարներ եւ մշակույթի գործիչներ:
Ապրիլի 5-ին Պանամայի գլխավոր դատախազությունը հայտնել Է «պանամական փաստաթղթերում» հիշատակված օֆշորային ընկերությունների ապօրինի ստեղծման դեպքերի հետաքննություն սկսելու պատրաստակամության մասին:
