Ամիսներ առաջ Թուրքիայում բնակվող 4 հայեր՝ Ռաֆիկ Պապոյանը, Կարինե Ղումաշյանը, Սերգեյ Պապոյանը եւ Դիանա Գորոյանը, մեղադրվեցին Ադրբեջանի հետախուզական ծառայություններին հավաքագրվելու մեջ:
Ըստ մեղադրական եզրակացության` Ռաֆիկ Պապոյանը հավաքագրվել է այդ երկրի տարածքում գործունեություն ծավալած, Ադրբեջանի հետախուզական ծառայությունների աշխատակիցը հանդիսացող, Սեյրան անունով ներկայացած անձի կողմից եւ կատարել այդ հետախուզական ծառայության առաջադրանքները. Հայաստանից Թուրքիա ժամանած ՀՀ քաղաքացիներից ընտրել է Ադրբեջանի հետախուզական ծառայությունների համար հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող անձանց ու հավաքագրման նպատակով ծանոթացնել նրաց հետ:
Սերգեյ Պապոյանը Թուրքիայում բնակվող հոր` Ռաֆիկ Պապոյանի ուղղորդմամբ, Վրաստանի Թբիլիսի քաղաքում հանդիպել է Ադրբեջանի հետախուզական ծառայությունների աշխատակից հանդիսացող անձի հետ եւ հավաքագրվել վերջինի կողմից` տեղեկություն տրամադրելով ԼՂՀ Մարտունու շրջանում որպես հետախույզ ժամկետային զինծառայության ընթացքում տիրապետած տեղեկությունների վերաբերյալ: Վճարելով 750 դոլար` վերոհիշյալ Սեյրանը տվել է առաջադրանք` ընդունվել պայմանագրային ծառայության Մատաղիսի զորամասերից մեկում եւ այդ զորամասի մասին տեղեկություններ հայտնել համացանցի միջոցով:
Այս օրերին արդեն իսկ հայտնի դարձավ, թե ինչի համար էր այդ տեղեկատվությունը պետք Ադրբեջանին: Ամենաթեժ մարտերը ընթացան հենց Մատաղիսի ուղղությամբ:
Միանշանակ կարելի է ասել, որ այս օրերին զոհված զինծառայողների կյանքերի համար պետք է պատասխանատվություն կրեն նաև այս անձիք: Պետք է նկատել, որ վերջերս ձերբակալվեց նաև հետախուզության մայոր Գարիկ Մարությանը ով ևս Ադրբեջանի օգտին տեղեկություններ էր հավաքել մեր բանակի և զորքերի տեղակայման մասին:
Հ.Գ. Նման մարդկանց դատարանը պետք է նախատեսի ամենադաժան պատիժը: Նրանք երբեք չպետք է հնարավորություն ունենան այլևս մեր պետության դեմ գործողություններ իրականացնելու: Տեղին է հիշել մեծ հայորդի Նժդեհի խոսքերը.«Մեր դժբախտությունն այն չէ, որ աշխարհում կան թուրքեր, այլ այն, որ կան թուրքանման հայեր»:
