Ադրբեջանի կողմից սանձազերծված գործուղություններն աննախադեպ էին ոչ միայն 1994թ. զինադադարից հետո, այլեւ Ղարաբաղյան առաջին պատերազմի համեմատ: Այս մասին այսօր՝ ապրիլի 6-ին, Կառավարության նիստի ժամանակ նշել է ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Սեյրան Օհանյանը:
«Ադրբեջանի ագրեսիան աննախադեպ էր մի քանի տեսանկյուններից: Նախ ռազմական տեսանկյունից, շփման գծի ողջ երկայնքով կրակի խտությունը, կիրառվող զինատեսակների եւ զինտեխնիկայի տեսակները, ներգրավված ուժերի քանակը, ժամանակային կտրվածքով կորուստների մեծ քանակը: Ընդ որում, ադրբեջանական բանակի կորուստները շուրջ տասն անգամ ավելի էին մեր կորուստներից, նաեւ վարձկանների, ահաբեկիչների առկայությունը Ադրբեջանի ԶՈՒ տարբեր ուղղություններում կիրառման ընթացքում եւ նրանց ագրեսիվ գործողությունները»,-նշելէ Օհանյանն ու հավելել. «Իրավական տեսանկյունից Ադրբեջանի կողմից սանձազերծված ագրեսիայի ակնհայտ բնույթը, որովհետեւ եթե նույնիսկ նրանք ասում են, որ իբր թե պատասխանել են մեր գործողությունների, այդ բնույթի ու լայնամասշտաբ լինելը թույլ են տալիս ասելու, որ նրանք նախօրոք նախապատրաստված էին եւ ոչ համաչափ գործողություններ էին: Ադրբեջանի զինծառայողների դիակների եւ ոչնչացված ռազմական տեխնիկայի առկայությունը ԼՂՀ տարածքում, որի մասին մեր հանրություն իրազեկվել է: Հումանիտար տեսանկյունից, ակնհայտ ռազմական հանցագործությունների առկայությունը՝ խոշտանգումները, գլխատումները»:
Անդրադառնալով ԼՂՀ զինված ուժերի գործողություններին, նախարարն ընդգծել է. «Նրանց հերոսությունների արդյունքում Ադրբեջանը ոչնչի չի հասել, նույնիսկ ռազմավարական առումով: Հյուսիսում եւ հարավում վերահսկողությունը ՊԲ ներքո է եւ այդ առումով մենք պետք է ազգովի գլուխ խոնարհենք մեր զինվորների առջեւ»,- ընդգծել է նա:
