Դամասկոսում՝ Սիրիայի խորհրդարանում, հունիսի 3-ին տեղի է ունեցել հանդիպում Սիրիա ժամանած ՀՀ ազգային ժողովի պատվիրակության հետ: Այս մասին տեղեկանում ենք «Գանձասար» թերթի ֆեյսբուքյան էջից:

Սիրիայի խորհրդարանի անդամները շեշտել են Հայաստանի ու Սիրիայի պատմական հարաբերությունների կարևորությունն ու անհրաժեշտ են համարել երկու երկրի միջխորհրդարանական մակարդակի գործակցությունը՝ միջազգային հանրությանը պարզելու Սիրիայի տագնապի իրական պատկերն ու միջազգային ատյաններում բարձրաձայնելու ահաբեկչության դեմ պայքարի անհրաժեշտության գաղափարը:

Սիրիայի խորհրդարանի ազգային հաշտեցման խորհրդի նախագահ Օմար Ուսին նշել է, որ սիրիահայ համայնքը սիրիական հյուսվածքի անբաժանելի բաղադրիչն է: Ապա նշել է, որ Սիրիայի խորհրդարանը դատապարտել է Օսմանյան կայսրության կողմից ծրագրված ու գործադրված Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը, որի նպատակն էր հայ ժողովրդին արմատախիլ անել իր պատմական հայրենիքից և սփռել աշխարհով մեկ: Իր հերթին Սիրիայի մարդու իրավունքների և ազատության խորհրդի նախագահ Պատիհ Սակուրը հայտնել է, որ ցեղասպանության ենթարկված հայ ժողովրդի նույն թշնամին այսօր սպառնում է Սիրիայի ժողովրդին, հետևաբար ճակատագրակից ենք ազատությանը և մարդկությանը սպառնացող միևնույն թշնամու դեմ պայքարում:

Հայկական պատվիրակության նախագահ Տաճատ Վարդապետյանը շեշտել է, որ Սիրիան հայի երկրորդ հայրենիքն է և շնորհակալություն է հայտնել Սիրիայի ժողովրդին Ցեղասպանությունից մազապուրծ հայորդիներին ապաստան տալու և Ցեղասպանությունը պաշտոնապես դատապարտելու համար՝ հավաստիացնելով, որ Հայաստանի ազգային ժողովի ներակայացուցիչները ջանք չեն խնայի միջազգային բեմահարթակներում ներկայացնելու Սիրիայի տագնապի իրական պատկերը և զորակցելու Սիրիայի ժողովրդին: Կողմերն անդրադարձել են նաև տարածաշրջանում Թուրքիայի ունեցած բացասական դերակատարությանը:
