Պատգամավոր Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը, ով գիշերն է վերադարձել Ղարաբաղից, Ազգային ժողովում լրագրողների հետ զրույցում անկեղծացավ, որ այսուհետ պետք է մոռանալ «զինադադարի խախտում» տերմինը, քանի որ տեղի ունեցածը զինադադարի խախտում չէ:

«Սա պատերազմ է, և պետք է գիտակցել դա: Շփման գծի ողջ երկայնքով տեղի են ունեցել ռազմական գործողություններ, և Ղարաբաղի տարածքը գրավելու փորձեր են արվել»,- ասաց պատգամավորը՝ հաստատելով, որ Ադրբեջանի առաջին ծրագիրը ձախողվել է: Ըստ Փաշինյանի՝ հակառակորդը փորձել է երկու կողմից մտնել Ղարաբաղ և եթե դա նրանց հաջողվեր, ապա կենտրոնից կմտնեին Ստեփանակերտ: Սակայն, Փաշինյանի փոխանցմամբ, ԼՂՀ ուժերը կարողացել են թե’ հարավում, թե’ հյուսիսում կասեցնել ներխուժումը և ձախողել Ադրբեջանի պլանները:

«Վերջին երկու տարում անընդհատ ունեցել ենք այս իրավիճակի «մինի» տարբերակններ, այսինքն` հարձակվել են, ճնշել են մեր զորքերը դիրքերը, մի շաբաթ, 10 օր, մի ամիս, երկու ամիս հանգստացել են և նորից կրկնվել է: Հիմա ռազմաքաղաքական իրավիճակն այսպիսին է` եթե մենք այս պահի դրությամբ ստատուս քվոյի շրջանակներում զինադադար հաստատեցինք, իսկ որտե՞ղ է երաշխիքը, որ երեք օրից նույն բանը չի կրկնվի: Ենթադրենք` մենք ապրիլի 1-ի բոլոր դիրքերը հետ գրավեցինք նաև հարավային ուղղությամբ և այդ ստատուս քվոյով կնքեցինք զինադադար, էլի` որտե՞ղ է երաշխիքը, որ այս հարձակման փորձը չի լինի»,- նշեց Փաշինյանը՝առաջարկելով հետևյալ լուծում, այն է՝ այս փուլում պետք է ամեն ինչ անել Ադրբեջանին տարածքային լուրջ կորուստներ պատճառելու համար, որպեսզի երաշխիքներ ունենանք, որ այդ շոկից Ալիևը գոնե մի տարի դուրս չի գա:
