ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարը խնդրել է երկրների ղեկավարներին՝ մասնակցել Համաշխարհային հումանիտար գագանաժողովին

ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Պան Գի Մունը հորդորել է բոլոր երկրների ղեկավարներին՝ մասնակցել առաջին Համաշխարհային հումանիտար գագանաժողովին, որը մայիսի 23-24-ին տեղի է ունենալու Ստամբուլում: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, զեկույցով ելույթ ունենալով Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի առջեւ, նա հայտնել է, որ սկսվել է համաժողովի նախապատրաստման «վերջին, վճռորոշ փուլը»:

«Ահա այն ուղերձը, որը ես խնդրում եմ ձեզ փոխանցել ձեր մայրաքաղաքներ՝ ամենաբարձր մակարդակով մասնակցեք Ստամբուլի գագաթնաժողովին եւ առաջատարություն ցուցադրեք 21-րդ դարի հսկայական մարտահրավերներին հակազդելու գործում: Ցույց տվեք, որ մենք պատրաստ ենք միասին աշխատել»,- ասել է Պան Գի Մունը՝ դիմելով կազմակերպության անդամ 193 երկրների դիվանագետներին: Նրա խոսքով՝ Համաշխարհային հումանիտար գագաթնաժողովը «եզակի հնարավորություն» է առաջարկում՝ պատասխանելու աշխարհն ընդգրկած բազմաթիվ ճգնաժամերի, ինչպես նաեւ աջակցելու այն 125 մլն մարդկանց , ովքեր շտապ հումանիտար օգնության ու պաշտպանության կարիք ունեն:

Ինչպես հայտնել է ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարը, գագաթնաժողովի առաջին օրը տեղի կունենա հանդիպում պետությունների ու կառավարությունների ղեկավարների մասնակցությամբ, որի ընթացքում պլանավորվում է քննարկել «հումանիտար գործունեության ոլորտի հինգ հիմնական ուղղություններ»: Նրա խոսքով՝ դրանք ներառում են պատասխանատվության ապահովումը հակամարտությունների կանխման ու դադարեցման համար, օրենքերի եւ պատերազմի կանոնների հարգումը, հումանիտար ճգնաժամերի հաղթահարման համար պայմանների ստեղծումը, ինչպես նաեւ ներդրումների ավելացումը հումանիտար գո րծունեության բնագավառում, հաղորդել է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
