Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի նախագահ Մարտին Շուլցը մտահոգություն է հայտնել Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության գոտում լարվածության աճով: ԵԽ նախագահը գրառում է կատարել թվիթերյան իր միկրոբլոգում: «Կողմերին կոչ եմ անում վերադառնալ խաղաղ բանակցային գործընթաց՝ ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի հովանու ներքո»,- նշել է Մարտին Շուլցը:

 Ապրիլի 1-ի լույս 2-ի գիշերը և առավոտյան հակառակորդըղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական հակամարտ զորքերի շփման գծի ողջերկայնքով ձեռնարկել է լայնածավալ նախահարձակգործողություններ, որոնց ընթացքում հրթիռահրետանայինարկակոծման են ենթարկվում ոչ միայն հայկական զինուժիպաշտպանական դիրքերը, այլև խաղաղ բնակավայրերը: Ըստ ՊԲօպերատիվ տվյալների,ադրբեջանական զինուժի կողմից ապրիլի 2-ինժամը 08:30-ի սահմաններում Մարտունու պաշտպանականուղղությամբ ՄՄ-21 («Գրադ») կայանքից իրականացվածհրթիռահրետակոծության հետևանքով սպանվել է 2004թ. ծնվածՎաղինակ Թաթուլի Գրիգորյանը, ևս երկու երեխա վիրավորվելեն:Ընդհանուր առմամբ, ապրիլի 1-ի լույս 2-ի գիշերը և օրվա ընթացքումտեղի ունեցած մարտական գործողությունների ընթացքում ադրբեջանական զինուժը տվել էր 200-ից ավելի կորուստ: Լեռնային ՂարաբաղիՊաշտպանության բանակի՝ ժամանակին և արհեստավարժգործողությունների շնորհիվ հնարավոր եղավ իրավիճակը վերցնել հսկողության տակ ևոչ միայնիրավիճակը վերցնել հսկողության տակ, այլ նաև զգալի կորուստներ հասցնելհակառակորդին: Հայկական կողմն 18 զոհ ուներ և< i> 35-ին մոտ վիրավոր: Առաջնային գծի հարավային ուղղությամբ ապրիլի 3-ին՝ ժամը 06:00-իցսկսած,հակառակորդը հրթիռահրետանային միջոցների և զրահատեխնիկայի կիրառմաբ շարունակել է ագրեսիվ ռազմական գործողություններիվարումը: ՊԲ ստորաբաժանումներն անցել են հակազդիչ գործողությունների և Թալիշի ուղղությամբ տիրել նախօրյակին ադրբեջանական ուժերիկողմից գրավված մարտավարական կարևոր նշանակության հենակետին, շարքից հանել են թշնամական 2 տանկ և 1 հետևակի մարտականմեքենա (ՀՄՄ):
