Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն ու Ամերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգների նախագահ Բարաք Օբաման կարճատև զրույց են ունեցել Միջուկային անվտանգության գագաթնաժողովի ժամանակ:

 ԱՄՆ նախագահը գագաթաժողովի բացման նիստի սկզբում հաղորդակցվել է մի քանի երկրի ղեկավարների հետ:

Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը մարտի 28-ին աշխատանքային այցով մեկնել էԱՄՆ` մասնակցելու Վաշինգտոնում կայանալիք Միջուկային անվտանգության գագաթնաժողովին, որի շրջանակներում նախատեսված էին մի շարք հանդիպումներ: Նախագահը եղել է Բոստոնում, հանդիպել Մասաչուսեթսի նահանգապետի, համայնքային ղեկավարների և Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի անդամների հետ: Նախագահը հյուրընկալվել է Մասաչուսեթսի տեխնոլոգիաների ինստիտուտում, այցելե կրթական այդհաստատության մեդիա լաբորատորիա, «Սամբերգ» համաժողովների կենտրոնում հանդիպում ունեցել ամերիկահայ գիտնականների հետ:Կայացել է նաև Նախագահի հանդիպումը «Լույս» հիմն ադրամի կրթաթոշակառուների և շրջանավարտների հետ: Սերժ Սարգսյանն այցելել էիրավունքի և դիվանագիտության Ֆլեթչեր դպրոց՝ հանդիպում ունենալով համալսարանի ղեկավարության, պրոֆեսորադասախոսական կազմի և«Թավիթյան» հիմնադրամի կրթական ծրագրի մասնակից ՀՀքաղաքացիների հետ: Հարվարդի համալսարանի Քենեդիի անվան կառավարման դպրոցում Նախագահը հանդես է եկել դասախոսությամբ և հանդիպել հայուսանողների ու համալսարանի ղեկավարության հետ: ՀՀ Նախագահը հանդիպել է նաև ԱՄՆ փոխնախագահ Ջոզեֆ Բայդենի հետ:
