Ադրբեջանում քաղաքական բանտարկյալների խնդրի հետեւում կանգնած է երկրի ղեկավար Իլհամ Ալիեւը: Նա է երկրում քաղաքական ձերբակալությունների պատվիրատուն:
Վկայակոչելով Meydan TV ինտերնետային հեռուստաալիքի կայքը, այս մասին Ադրբեջանի «Առանց քաղբանտարկյալների Ադրբեջանի դաշինք»-ի կողմից «Մուսավաթ» կուսակցության Բաքվի կենտրոնակայանում մարտի 31-ին կազմակերպված մամուլի ասուլիսում հայտարարել է օրերս բանտից ազատ արձակված նախկին քաղբանտարկյալ, «Մուսավաթ» կուսակցության փոխնախագահ Թոֆիգ Յագուբլուն:
Մամուլի կոնֆերանսին մասնակցել են քաղաքացիական հասարակության ակտիվիստներ, լրագրողներ, դիվանագիտական առաքելությունների ներկայացուցիչներ:
«2014 թվականի հունիսին ԵԽԽՎ-ի նստաշրջանում Իլգար Մամեդովի գործի հետ կապված հարցի պատասխանում Իլհամ Ալիեւն ասել էր, որ Ադրբեջանը Եվրոպական դատարանի իրավական համակարգում է, եւ եթե Իլգար Մամեդովին ազատ արձակելու վերաբերյալ որոշում լինի, ապա այն ի կատար կածվի: Ստրասբուրգի դատարանի Մեծ պալատի կողմից Իլգար Մամեդովին ազատ արձակելու վերաբերյալ ընդունած վճռից հետո Եվրոպայի Խորհրդի նախարարների կոմիտեն բազմիցս Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարությանը կոչ է արել կատարել այդ որոշումը, իսկ նա դեռ գտնվում է բանտում», -նշել է Յագուբլուն:
Թոֆիգ Յագուբլուն ասել է, որ Ադրբեջանի ներկայիս վարչակարգի դեմ պայքարողները պետք է միասնաբար գործեն` միաժամանակ ափոսոսանք հայտնելով, որ նրանց միջեւ անդունդը խորացել է:
«Իմ քաղաքական պայքարի բանաձեւը հետեւյալն է. քաղաքացիական հասարակության, քաղաքական կուսակցությունների նկատմամբ մեր վերաբերմունքը մենք պետք է որոշակիացնենք իշխանության նկատմամբ նրանց վերաբերմունքից ելնելով: Եթե որեւէ կուսակցություն արդյունավետ պայքար է տանում իշխանության դեմ, ապա ես նրան անվերապահորեն կընդունեմ` անկախ արժեքների նկատմամբ նրանց ունեցած չափանիշներից», -ասել է նա:
