Դունյա Միյատովիչը դատապարտել է Թուրքիայում լրագրողների իրավունքների ոտնահարումները

 Մեդիայի ազատության հարցերով ԵԱՀԿ հատուկ ներկայացուցիչ Դունյա Միյատովիչը հերթական անգամ հորդորել է Թուրքիայի իշխանություններին չհետապնդել ու չդատապարտել լրագրողներին հանրային հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող թեմաների լուսաբանման համար: Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ԵԱՀԿ-ից, Միյատովիչի կողմից նման հայտարարություն է արվել ապրիլի 1-ին կայանալիք փակ դատական նիստից առաջ, որտեղ քննվելու է թուրքական «Ջումհուրիեթ» պարբերականի լրագրողներ Ջան Դյունդարի և Էչդեմ Գյուլի գործը:

«Անընդունելի է լրագրողների բանտարկումը հանրային հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող թեմաների լուսաբանման պատճառով: Պետական գաղտնիքները պաշտպանելու պատասխանատվությունն ընկնում է պաշտոնյաների, այլ ոչ թե լրագրողների վրա: Ես շարունակում եմ լիահույս լինել, որ թուրքական իշխանությունները կգիտակցեն խնդրի կարևորությունն ու ազդեցությունը, որն այն կգործի երկրում մեդիայի ազատության վրա»,- նշել է ԵԱՀԿ հատուկ ներկայացուցիչը: Միյատովիչը փաստել է նաև, որ լրագրողների մասնակցությամբ դատական նիստերը չպետք է անցկացվեն փակ դռների հետևում: «Իշխան ությունները պետք է երաշխավորեն թափանցիկությունը, և պետք է գերակշռի հանրության` իրազեկված լինելու իրավունքը»,- ասել է նա:

Թուրքիայում «Ջումհուրիեթ» (Cumhurriyet) թերթի գլխավոր խմբագիր Ջան Դյունդարին և այդ նույն թերթի Անկարայի թղթակից Էրդեմ Գյուլին ձերբակալել և կալանավորել էին :   «Իսլամական պետության» ահաբեկիչներին զենք մատակարարելու մասին նյութ հրապարակելու համար: Լրագրողներին մեղադրում ենահաբեկչական կազմակերպության մեջ ներգրավվածության և լրտեսության համար: Իրականում նյութում բացահայտում էր արվում այն մասին, որ Թուրքիայիազգային հետախուզական ծառայությունը բեռնատարներով զենք էմատակարարում ԻՊ-ին:  

Շուրջ երեք ամիս ազատազրկման մեջ գտնվելուց հետո Ջան Դյունդարն ու Էրդեմ Գյուլը երկրի Սահմանադրական դատարանի որոշմամբ ազատ էին արձակվել:Այս որոշմանը դեմ էր արտահայտվել երկրի նախագահ Էրդողանը` հայտարարելով, որ չի հարգում Սահմանադրական դատարանի որոշումը: Էրդողանը և Ազգային հետախուզական ծառայությունը որպես հայցվոր կողմ ներգրավվել են լրագրողների դեմ դատական գործում: Դատարանի որոշմամբլրագրողների գործով դատական նիստերն այսուհետ անցկացվելու են դռնփակ կարգով:
