Ռուսական «Не родись красивой» սերիալը մեծ ճանաչում է վայելում մինչեւ հիմա, թեեւ նկարահանվել է 10 տարի առաջ։ Սերիալի գլխավոր հերոսուհին տգեղ արտաքինով Կատյա Պուշկարյովան էր, ով արդյունքում գեղեցկուհու է վերածվում եւ ամուսնանում իր երազանքների ասպետի հետ։
Պուշկարյովայի կերպարը մարմնավորել է դերասանուհի Նելլի Ուվարովան։ Եւ քչերը թերեւս գիտեն, որ նրա մայրը հայուհի է։ Ուվարովան ծնվել է 1980 թվականի մարտի 14-ին՝ լիտվական Մաժեյկայ քաղաքում։ Նրա հայրը՝ Վլադիմիր Գրիգորեւիչը, ռուս է, ինժեներ-շինարար, մայրը հայուհի է, մասնագիտությամբ տնտեսագետ է, սակայն երկար տարիներ աշխատել է սպորտային գիմնաստիկայի ուսումնարանում՝ իբրեւ մարզիչ։ Ուվարովան նաեւ ավագ քույր ունի՝ Լենան, նա դիզայներ է։
Ուվարովան Մոսկվա է եկել 1994-ին, ընդունվել է համալսարան, սկսել խաղալ թատրոնում, ապա՝ կինոյում։ Ուվարովան առաջին անգամ ամուսնացել է 2006-ին, սակայն շուտով ամուսնալուծվել է։
Երկրորդ անգամ ամուսնացել է 2011-ին՝ դերասան Ալեքսանդր Գրիշինի հետ։ Զույգը մեկ դուստր ունի։
