Իրանում ներքաղաքական մթնոլորտը «շիկացել է» այն բանից հետո, երբ Իսլամական վարչակարգի նպատակահարմարությունը որոշող խորհրդի նախագահ, Փորձագետների խորհրդի անդամ և ԻԻՀ նախկին նախագահ (1989-1997 թթ.) այաթոլլահ Ալի Աքբար Հաշեմի Ռաֆսանջանին իր թվիթերյան էջին հետևյալ գրառումն է կատարել. «Վաղվա աշխարհը ոչ թե հրթիռների, այլ երկխոսության աշխարհ է...»:

Պահպանողական քաղաքական թևին հարող իրանական լրատվական ռեսուրսներն անմիջապես քննադատության թիրախ են դարձրել այաթոլլահ Ռաֆսանջանիին, իսկ այսօր էլ վերջինս խստագույն որակումներով անուղղակի քննադատության է ենթարկվել անձամբ ԻԻՀ գերագույն հոգևոր առաջնորդի կողմից, որը նշել է. «Այն, որ ասում են, թե վաղվա աշխարհը հրթիռների աշխարհ չէ, այլ երկխոսության, կարող է երկու բացատրություն ունենալ՝ կամ տվյալ անձն անիրազեկ է աշխարհի անցուդարձից կամ իրազեկ է և դավաճան: Ի՞նչ օգուտ նրանից, որ Իրանի իսլամական կառավարման համակարգն իր գլխավոր նպատակը դարձնի տեխնոլոգիաների զարգացումն ու աշխարհի հետ երկխոսությունը՝ առանց մտածելու պաշտպանական ներուժի մեծացման մասին. պարզից էլ պարզ է, որ յուրաքանչյուր արտաքին սպառնալիքի առջև միայն նահանջելու ենք»:

Շատ ծանոթ իրավիճակ է, որն Իրանում հաճախ է կրկնվել այն պահերին, երբ անհրաժեշտ է եղել շեղել ներքին որոշ ուժերի, իսկ ավելի շատ արտաքին խաղացողների ուշադրությունն այլ խնդիրներից: Այաթոլլահ Ռաֆսանջանին ԻԻՀ ակունքներում կանգնած ամենահեղինակավոր դեմքերից և ռահբարի մերձավորներից է, որը չի խորշել ժամանակ առ ժամանակ իր անձը քննարկումների առարկա դարձնել: Բայց ամեն անգամ «կախարդական փայտիկի» միջոցով նրան առնչվող տարաձայնությունները հաղթահարվել են, և Ռաֆսանջանին շարունակել է վայելել իր հեղինակավոր դիրքը պետական կառավարման համակարգում:
