Ռուբեն վարդապետ Զարգարյանը Ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.

Զատկի տոնի նախօրյակին Հիսուսն իմանալով, որ հասել է ժամը, երբ ինքն այս աշխարհից պիտի գնա իր Հոր մոտ, սիրեց նրանց, ովքեր իր հետևորդներն էին այս աշխարհում, և ծայրաստիճան սիրեց նրանց։ Երբ Հիսուսը և իր աշակերտներն ընթրում էին, Սատանան արդեն իսկ Իսկարիովտացի Սիմոնի որդու՝ Հուդայի մտքում դրել էր Հիսուսին մատնելու խորհուրդը։ Հիսուսը, իմանալով հանդերձ, որ Հայրն ամեն իշխանություն տվել է իրեն, և որ ինքն Աստծուց է եկել և Աստծու մոտ է գնում, վեր կացավ սեղանից, մի կողմ դրեց իր վրայի հագուստը և մի սրբիչ վերցնելով՝ կապեց մեջքին։ Ապա ջուր վերցնելով՝ լցրեց կոնքի մեջ և սկսեց իր աշակերտների ոտքերը լվանալ և սրբել մեջքին կապած սրբիչով։ Երբ մոտեցավ Սիմոն Պետրոսին, սա ասաց նրան.
-Տե՛ր, դո՞ւ ես լվանալու իմ ոտքերը։
Հիսուսը պատասխանեց.
-Ինչ որ ես անում եմ, դու հիմա չես հասկանում, բայց հետո կհասկանաս։
Պետրոսն ասաց.
-Երբե՛ք դու իմ ոտքերը չես լվանա։
Հիսուսը պատասխանեց.
-Եթե քո ոտքերը չլվանամ, ինձ հետ բաժին չես ունենա։
-Տե՛ր, - ասաց Սիմոն Պետրոսը, - ուրեմն ոչ միայն իմ ոտքերը, այլև իմ ձեռքերն ու գլուխն էլ լվա՛։
Հիսուսը պատասխանեց.
-Նա, ով լվացված է, մաքուր է լինում, հետևաբար պետք է միայն ոտքերը լվանալ։ Դուք մաքուր եք, բայց ո՛չ բոլորդ։
Քանի որ Հիսուսը գիտեր, թե ով է մատնելու իրեն, դրա համար ասաց. «Դուք մաքուր եք, բայց ո՛չ բոլորդ»։
