Իրականում ինչու՞ է առաջանում այդքան առեղծվածային դեժավյուն

Գտնվելով անծանոթ վայրում, թվացել է թե նախկինում եղել ենք այնտեղ. նման երևույթ պատահել է գրեթե յուրաքանչյուրիս հետ:
Թեև déjà vu (fr) բառացի թարգմանելիս նշանակում է 'արդեն տեսել եմ', բայց այն կարող է առաջանալ ոչ միայն տեսողական ասոցիացիաներով, այլ նաև ձայների, հոտերի ասոցիացիաների միջոցով:
Ավելի հաճախ, դեժավյուն կապված է լինում ուղեղի ճակատային բլթի գործունեության խանգարման հետ:
Ըստ վիճակագրության, դեժավյուն ավելի հաճախ հանդիպում է մինչև 30 տարեկան և ստեղծագործ մարդկանց մոտ :
Իսկ ինչպե՞ս է բացատրվում դեժավյուի երևույթը բացարձակապես առողջ մարդկանց մոտ:
Ամենապարզ բացատրությունն այն է, որ մեր ենթագիտակցությունը մեզ "խաբում" է: Ցանկացած իրավիճակում, երբ մեզ մի փոքր բան ծանոթ է լինում (հոտ, ձայն, գույներ ), մեր ուղեղը սխալմամբ ամբողջացնում է պատկերը և մեզ թվում է, թե արդեն իսկ եղել ենք այդ իրավիճակում, տեսել ենք այդ ամենը:
Մյուս բացատրությունը այսպիսին է. մենք տեսել ենք տվյալ փողոցը կես վայրկյան առաջ, բայց հիշում ենք որպես վաղ անցյալ: Երբ տեսնում ենք փողոցը և ուղեղը ուղարկում է այն մեր հիշողություններիմեջ, 'կես ժամ առաջ' տեսածների դարակում դասավորելու փոխարեն սխալմամբ դասավորում է 'կես տարի առաջ' տեսածների մեջ:
Այս բացատրությանը կա նաև հակադարձություն. մենք ոչ թե արձագանքում ենք մեր տեսած որևէ առարկային, այլ, մենք վերհիշում ենք նմանատիպ դասավորվածությունը: Գոյություն ունեն 'մտավոր քարտեզներ', որոնք մենք պահում ենք մեր ուղեղում՝ հիպոկամպում: Եվ համաձայն այս տեսության, դեժավյուն առաջանում է, երբ նոր մտավոր քարտեզը հանկարծակի համընկնում է նմանատիպ հնի հետ:
