Երկրորդ պատճառը մարտկոցի լիցքավորումը պարբերաբար թողնելն է, որ հասնի 0 կամ 100%-ի: Փոխարենը՝ հարկավոր է հեռախոսի մարտկոցը պահել 80%-ի և 50%-ի միջակայքում:
Երրորդ պատճառը հեռախոսը միշտ միացրած պահելն է, փոխարենը՝ հարկավոր է հեռախոսն անջատել, երբ այն օգտագործելու կարիք չունեք: Մշտական օգտագործումն, ի վերջո, կհանգեցնի մարտկոցի աշխատանքի վատթարացմանը։
