ԵՄ-ն պատրաստ է շարունակելու աջակցությունը Հայաստանում իրականացվող բարեփոխումներին եւ խորացնելու երկկողմ համագործակցությունը: Այս մասին, մարտի 18-ին, Հայաստանի ԱԳՆ-ում ԵՄ-Հայաստան արդարադատության, ազատության եւ անվտանգության հարցերով ենթակոմիտեի 7-րդ նիստի ժամանակ նշել է ՀՀ-ում ԵՄ պատվիրակության ղեկավար դեսպան Պյոտր Սվիտալսկին:

Նիստի ընթացքում քննարկվել են կոռուպցիայի եւ ահաբեկչության դեմ պայքարը, դատաիրավական բարեփոխումները, միգրացիոն խնդիրները, սահմանների կառավարումը, վիզաների դյուրացման գործընթացը, ինչպես նաեւ իրավական փոխօգնության ու անձնական տվյալների պաշտպանությանը վերաբերող հարցերը: Հանդիպմանը մասնակցել են ՀՀ պետական տարբեր գերատեսչությունների եւ Եվրոպական միության ներկայացուցիչներ:

Նախարարի տեղակալ Վիգեն Քոչարյանը կարեւորել է ՀՀ-ԵՄ միջեւ երկխոսության եւ տարբեր ոլորտներում առկա համագործակցության զարգացումը: Արձանագրելով, որ արդարադատության, ազատության եւ անվտանգության հարցերը հանդիսանում են այդպիսի համագործակցության առանցքային ոլորտներից մեկը, նա նշել է, որ դա նաեւ արտացոլվելու է նախապատրաստվող ԵՄ-ՀՀ համագործակցության իրավական հիմքը սահմանող հիմնարար պայմանագրում: Ներկայացնելով ՀՀ հակակոռուպցիոն քաղաքականությունը՝ արդարադատության նախարարի տեղակալ ընդգծել է, որ կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարը ՀՀ իշխանությունների առաջնային խնդիրներից է, եւ այդ ուղղությամբ իրականացվում են ինստիտուցիոնալ եւ օրենսդրական մի շարք բարեփոխումներ: Նրա խոսքով՝ հետագա քայլերի մշակմանը նախատեսվում է ոլորտի լավագույն միջազգային փորձագետների ներգրավումը, ինչպես նաեւ քաղաքացիական հասարակության ակտիվ մասնակցությունը հակակոռուպցիոն ծրագրերի իրականացման աշխատանքներին: 

ԵՄ գործընկերների խնդրանքով Վիգեն Քոչարյանը ներկայացրել է նաեւ դատաիրավական ոլորտում իրականացվող բարեփոխումների ընթացքը: Նախարարի տեղակալն ընդգծել է, որ նոր Սահմանադրությամբ դատական համակարգի անկախության ամրապնդման նպատակով սահմանվել են առավել գործուն եւ արդյունավետ երաշխիքներ, որոնցով կապահովվի դատարանի թե՛ ներքին, թե՛ արտաքին անկախությունը, կբարձրանա անկաշկանդ գործելու հնարավորությունները:

Ենթակոմիտեի համանախագահ Եվրոպական արտաքին գործողությունների ծառայության Արեւելյան գործընկերության վարչության ղեկավար Դիրկ Շուեբելը եւ ՀՀ-ում ԵՄ պատվիրակության ղեկավար դեսպան Պյոտր Սվիտալսկին վստահեցրել են՝ ԵՄ-ն պատրաստ է շարունակելու աջակցությունը Հայաստանում իրականացվող բարփոխումներին եւ խորացնելու երկկողմ համագործակցությունը: Նրանք ընդգծել են, որ դատաիրավական եւ այլ ոլորտների բարեփոխումների վերաբերյալ Հայաստանում մշակվել է լավ ռազմավարություն եւ գործողությունների ծրագրեր՝ միեւնույն ժամանակ արձանագրելով, որ դեռեւս լուծում պահանջող խնդիրների հետ մեկտեղ առկա է զգալի առաջընթաց:

ԵՄ ներկայացուցիչները դրական են գնահատել Հայաստանի ջանքերը կառավարման թափանցիկության, հանրային ոլորտի զարգացման, միգրացիաի կառավարման, ահաբեկչության դեմ պայքարի ու սահմանների վերահսկողության ոլորտներում եւ պատրաստակամություն են հայտնել շարունակելու եւ խորացնելու համագործակցությունը:
