Այսօր՝ հուլիսի 22-ին, դաժան ու ողբերգական ավտովթար է տեղի ունեցել Արագածոտնի մարզում: Ժամը 08:00-ի սահմաններում Աշտարակ քաղաքից դեպի Գյումրի տանող ճանապարհահատվածում բախվել են Արագածոտնի մարզի Արուճ գյուղի բնակիչ, 27-ամյա Գալուստ Վերդոյանի վարած Վազ 2107 մակնիշի 34 QL 135 համարանիշի և Արագածոտնի մարզի Ագարակ գյուղի բնակիչ, 26-ամյա Էդգար Միրզոյանի վարած ЗИЛ ММЗ 4502 մակնիշի 94 PP 004 համարանիշի ավտոմեքենաները:
Ինչպես հայտնում է Shamshyan.com-ը, բախման հետևանքով «07»-ի վարորդ Գ. Վերդոյանը տեղում մահացել է, իսկ հարվածի արդյունքում նրա ավտոմեքենան գլխիվայր շրջվել է, իսկ ЗИЛ-ն էլ , որը բարձված է եղել քարով, կողաշրջվել է:
Մահացածը ՀՀ ՊՆ ռազմական ոստիկանության աշխատակից էր, իսկ նրա հայրն ու մայրն այս տարվա փետրվարի 17-ին Արագածոտնի մարզի Արուճ գյուղի խաչմերուկում ավտովթարի էին ենթարկվել և մահացել:
Դեպքի վայրով անցնում էր Արագածոտնի մարզպետ Սարգիս Սահակյանը, ով անգամ չբարեհաճեց ավտոմեքնայից իջնել և մոտենալ ոստիկաններին, փրկարարներին ու քննիչներին, այլ մեքենայի միջից 1-2 բառ խոսեց ՃՈ տեսուչի հետ և հեռացավ: Հավաքվածներին այդ փաստն այնքան էր զայրացրել, որ «բարի խոսքեր շռայլեցին» մարզպետի հասցեին՝ ասելով. «Տնաշեն, քո մարզում դաժան ու ողբերգական դեպք ա տեղի ունեցել, մի հատ չիջնե՞ս ու հետաքրքրվես՝ ինչը ինչոց ա, հետո էլ ասում են, թե մարզպետը տեղում է»:
