Վերաքննիչ քրեական դատարանում սկսվեց և բուռն մթնոլորտում ավարտվեց նախկին զինծառայող Արմեն Սարգսյանի գործով բերված վերաքննիչ բողոքների քննությունը:

Գործը քննվել է Սյունիքի մարզի ընդհանուր իրավասության դատարանում Դավիթ Գրիգորյանի նախագահությամբ:

20-ամյա Արմենը մեղադրվում էր համածառայակցին դիտավորությամբ սպանելու համար՝ ՀՀ քրեական օրենսգրքի 104 հոդվածի 1-ին մասով:

Ըստ մեղադրանքի՝ ժամկետային զինծառայող Արմեն Սարգսյանը, լինելով ջոկի գնդացրորդ, կոչումով՝ շարքային, 2014 թվականի հուլիսի 18-ին, առավոտյան ժամը 6-ից 8-ը որպես դիտորդ ծառայության է նշանակված եղել դիտակետում:

Ժամը 6-ն անց 30-ի սահմաններում Արմեն Սարգսյանը դիտակետում քնել է ու այդ պատճառով, ըստ մեղադրանքի, վիճել է նույն հերթափոխի դիտորդ, պարտադիր ժամկետային զինծառայող, շարքային Գևորգ Ա.-ի հետ:

Վիճաբանության ընթացքում Արմեն Սարգսյանը, համաձայն առաջադրված մեղադրանքի, «իրեն հայհոյելու համար վրեժ լուծելու շարժառիթով սպանություն կատարելու դիտավորությամբ իրեն ամրակցված գնդացրից կրակահերթ է արձակել Գևորգ Ա.-ի ուղղությամբ»:  Ստացած բազմաթիվ վնասվածքներից Գևորգը մահացել է:

Նախաքննության ընթացքում ամբաստանյալի նկատմամբ նշանակվել է դատահոգեբուժական-դատահոգեբանական համալիր փորձաքննություն:

Դատահոգեբանական փորձաքննության եզրակացության համաձայն՝ հանցավոր արարքը կատարելու պահին Արմեն Սարգսյանը չի գտնվել ֆիզիոլոգիական աֆեկտի վիճակում: Դատահոգեբուժական փորձաքննության եզրակացության համաձայն՝ Արմենը չի տառապել ու չի տառապում հոգեկան հիվանդությամբ, նա ճանաչվել է մեղսունակ: Հանցավոր արարքի կատարման պահին նա չի գտնվել հոգեկան խանգարման վիճակում:
