«Երեկ առավոտյան արդեն պարզ դարձավ, որ Արարատյան դաշտում ծիրանենիների մի մասը ցրտահարվել է։ Օդի ջերմաստիճանը արձանագրող բազմաթիվ կայանների տվյալներով գիշերը ժամը երեքից մինչև առավոտյան 7-ը Արարատյան դաշտում ջերմաստիճանը բացասական է եղել, իսկ ժամը 4-5-ը ընկած հատվածում այն եղել է մինուս 5.6 աստիճան։ Սա բավարար է, որպեսզի ծիրանենին ցրտահարվի, և այսպիսի ջերմաստիճանի դեպքում նույնիսկ այգիների ծխահարությունը և ինտենսիվ ոռոգումը շոշափելի արդյունքներ տա չեն կարող։ Մարտի 17-ի լույս 18-ի գիշերը ինչպես նաև առաջիկա մեկ երկու գիշերներին նույնպես օդի ջերմաստիճանը ցածր կլինի զրոյից, գուցե ավելի շատ, քան անցած գիշեր։ «Այսօր սպասվում են ցուրտ հոսանքների ներխուժում Հայաստան, և այսօր և վաղը սպասվում Է ավեփ ցուրտ եղանակ»,– երեկ ՀՀ կառավարության նիստի ժամանակ հայտարարել է ՀՀ գյուղատնտեսության նախարար։ Վերջինս նաև հորդորել է «ծխապատումն ու ոռոգումն անպայման իրականացնել, սակայն դա, ինչպես նշեցինք, դժվար թե արդյունք տա։
Մի խոսքով, կարելի է այլես արձանագրել, որ այս տարի մասնավորապես ծիրանի բերքը շատ ավևի համեստ է լինելու, քան անցած տարի։ Իսկ անցած տարի Հայաստանում հավաքվել էր մրգի ռեկորդային բերք, որի արդյունքում գյուղատնտեսական արտադրանքի աճը նախորդ տարվա համեմատ, ըստ պաշտոնական վիճակագրության, կազմել էր մոտ 12 տոկոս։ Այսպիսի առատ բերքը ստացվել էր հենց բնակլիմայական աննախադեպ բարենպաստ պայմանների շնորհիվ։ Ցավոք, այս տարի նման արդյունք այլևս սպասել պետք չէ։
Ավելի բարձրադիր գոտիներում մրգատու ծառերը դեռ չեն ծաղկել ինչը հույսեր է ներշնչում, որ մրգերի արտառոց դեֆիցիտ այս տարի Հայաստանում չի լինի, ինչպես եղավ 2014 թվականին։ Մնում է միայն հուսալ, որ այս տարի գոնե կարկուտը չի վերացնի մնացած բերքը։
Նշենք, որ այս օրերին սպասվող ցրտահարությունը կարող է վնասել նաև բանջարաբոստանային կուլտուրաների սածիլներին, որոնք ներկայումս աճում են թաղանթների տակ։ Այս դեպքում, սակայն, վնասը անվերականգնելի չէ։ Գյուղացիները կարող են կրկին սածիլներ աճեցնել և դա ընդամենը մոտ մեկուկես ամսով «հետ կգցի», ասենք, լոլիկի, բիբարի, սմբուկի բերքը»,–գրում է թերթը։
