Դորտմունդի «Բորուսիա»-ն մարտի 17-ի, լույս 18-ի գիշերը, Երևանի ժամանակով 00:05-ին, Եվրոպայի լիգայի առաջնության 1/8-րդ եզրափակիչ պատասխան հանդիպումը կանցկացնի անգլիական «Տոտենհեմ Հոսթփուր» թիմի հետ: Դորտմունդյան ակումբի ավագ Մաթս Հյումելսը հանդիպումից առաջ տեղի ունեցած մամուլի ասուլիսի ժամանակ պատասխանել է լրագրողների հարցերին:
Խոսելով «Բորուսիա»-ի հարձակվող Պիեր-Էմերիկ Օբամեյանգի մասին, Մաթս Հյումելսը նշել է.
«Ոչ մեկի համար գաղտնիք չէ, որ գաբոնցի հարձակվողը շատ կարևոր է դորտմունդյան ակումբի համար: Առաջին շրջանում նա բավականին լավ հանդես եկավ, սակայն վերջին խաղերում նա ավելի քիչ գոլեր է խփում, քան նախորդ շրջանում, բայց նա ունի ավելի շատ գոլեր խփելու ցանկություն: Օբամեյանը շատ մեծ աշխատանք է անում, և դա կարևոր է մեր թիմի համար: Նա աշխատում է մեզ համար, իսկ մենք ամեն ինչ անում ենք, որ նա արդյունքի հասնի: Միանշանակ Աուբան բարձր կարգի հարձակվող է»:
Հնչեց նաև «Բունդեսլիգա»-ի առաջնության վերաբերյալ հարց, թե արդյո՞ք «Բորուսիա»-ն կարևորում է առաջին հորիզոնական դուրս գալը, քանի որ առաջատար «Բավարիա»-ից հինգ միավորով հետ է մնում մրցաշարային աղյուսակում:
«Ինձ համար չկա անկարևոր մրցաշար: Բոլոր մրցաշարերում, որտեղ հանդես է գալիս մեր թիմը, պետք է անպայման փորձի հաղթել: Ճիշտ է, մենք մրցաշարային աղյուսակում «Բավարիա»-ից հետ ենք հինգ միավորով, բայց փորձելու ենք հաղթել բոլոր այն հանդիպումներում, որոնք սպասվում են «Բունդեսլիգա»-ի խաղացանկում: Մենք չենք տարբերակում մրցաշարերը և մեզ համար նշանակություն չունի, թե ինչ առաջնություն է, մենք փորձելու ենք հաղթել բոլոր հանդիպումներում»,- ասել է Մաթս Հյումելսը:
Խոսելով «Տոտենհեմ Հոսթփուր»- ի դեմ կայանալիք հանդիպումից, դոտմունդյան ակումբի ավագը նշեց, որ իրենց թիմը չի կարևորում, թե հակառակորդ թիմում ինչ կարգի ֆուտբոլիստներ են հանդես գալիս:
«Մենք ունենք հրաշալի թիմ և բարձրակարգ ֆուտբոլիստներ» -հավելեց Հյումելսը:
