Հուլիսի 19-ին, ժամը 14.30-ին, ՀՀ ՏԿ եւ ԱԻՆ-ից ոստիկանության Կոտայքի բաժնում հաղորդում է ստացվել, որ իրենց է զանգահարել 44-ամյա Գարիկ Մ.-ն եւ հայտնել, որ Ջրաբեր գյուղում այրվում են գարու 3 հեկտար, հաճարի 1 հեկտար եւ գարու 1 հեկտար հնձված արտերը, եւ այնտեղ նկատել են սեւ «Ֆոլքսվագեն Գոլֆ» եւ սպիտակ «Պրիորա» մակնիշի ավտոմեքենաները:
Ոստիկանության մամուլի ծառայությունից հայտնում են, որ մեկնած օպերատիվ խումբը պարզել է, որ նույն օրը, ժամը 13.00-ի սահմաններում, Կապուտան գյուղին հարակից դաշտավայրում` Աբովյան քաղաքից դեպի Ջրաբեր տանող ճանապարհից մոտ 150 մ հեռավորության վրա գտնվող, 53-ամյա Անանիա Ս.-ին պատկանող մոտ 4 հեկտար գարու եւ հաճարի արտը եւ նրա եղբորը` 55-ամյա Հարություն Ս.-ին պատկանող մոտ 4 հեկտար արտի մեջ գտնվող մոտ 100 ծղոտը հրկիզել է «Ֆոլքսվագեն Գոլֆ» մակնիշի ավտոմեքենայի վարորդը` պատճառելով մոտ 2.580.000 դրամի նյութական վնաս:
Ոստիկանության Կոտայքի բաժնի ծառայողների ձեռնարկած օպերատիվ-հետախուզական եւ բացատրական աշխատանքների շնորհիվ, հուլիսի 20-ին, ժամը 15.40-ին, բաժին է ներկայացել «Ֆոլկսվագեն Գոլֆ» մակնիշի ավտոմեքենայի վարորդը` 56-ամյա Արմեն Մ.-ն եւ տվել խոստովանական բացատրություն:
