Դե Միստուրան իրավունք չունի խոսել նախագահական ընտրություններից, դա Սիրիայի ժողովրդի բացառիկ իրավունքն է: Նա խախտել է ՄԱԿ բոլոր փաստաթղթերը:
Այս մասին հայտնել է Սիրիայի արտգործխնախարար Վալիդ ալ Մուալլեմը, փոխանցում է ՍԱՆԱ պետական գործակալությունը:
Ալ Մուալլեմը հայտնել է, որ Դամասկոսը ՄԱԿ՝ Սիրիայի հարցերով հատուկ բանագնացից հրավեր է ստացել, որում ՄԱԿ գրասենյակում Սիրիայի պատվիրակության հետ հանդիպման ամսաթիվ է նշված մարտի 14-ը: «Այն, որ նրա առաջին հանդիպումը կայանալու է Սիրիայի պաշտոնական պատվիրակության հետ, դրական է: Հուսանք, որ հանդիպմանը հնարավորինս շատ ընդդիմության ներկայացուցիչներ կլինեն, մասնավորապես նրանք, որոնք կապված չեն արտաքին ուժերի հետ»,- ասել է նա:
Ալ Մուալլեմն ընդգծել է, որ Սիրիայում իրավիճակը դեպի հանգուցալուծում է գնում: «Ոչ ոք չի համարձակվի ցամաքային զորք ուղարկել մեր երկիր, նրանք, ովքեր նման ելույթներ են ունեցել, նահանջել են: Օբամայի վերջին ելույթը դա էր մատնանշում: Ես վստահությամբ կարող եմ ասել, որ մեր ժողովուրդը հերքելու է երկրի պառակտման ցանկացած փորձ»,- հաստատել է նա:
Ալ Մուալլեմի խոսքով՝ Սիրիայի ժողովուրդը դրական է տրամադրված: «Մենք Ժնեւ ենք գնում, որպեսզի հաջող երկխոսություն ստացվի, ինչը կախված է ոչ միայն մեզնից, այլ նաեւ մյուսներից: Սիրիայի պաշտոնական պատվիրակությունը կմեկնի Ժնեւ եւ այնտեղ 24 ժամ կանցկացնի, եւ եթե ոչ ոքի չգտնի, կվերադառնա Դամասկոս, եւ ձախողման պատասխանատվությունը կկրի մյուս կողմը»,- ասել է Սիրիայի արտգոծնախարարը:
Ալ Մուալլեմը նշել է, որ անցումային ժամանակաշրջանի մասին ՄԱԿ փաստաթղթերում ոչինչ չի ասվում նախագահի պաշտոնի մասին, ուստի իրենք համաձայնության գան անցումային փուլի մեխանիզմների շուրջ:
