Դոնալդ Տուսկը Ծիծեռնակաբերդում հարգանքի տուրք մատուցեց Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակին

Եվրոպայի խորհրդի նախագահ Դոնալդ Տուսկը ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանի ուղեկցությամբ հուլիսի 20-ի առավոտյան այցելեց Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հուշահամալիր' հարգանքի տուրք մատուցելու Մեծ եղեռնի 1.5 մլն նահատակների հիշատակին:  Ծիծեռնակաբերդում պատվիրակությանը դիմավորեցին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի փոխնախարար Կարեն Նազարյանը և Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարան-ինստիտուտի փոխտնօրեն Սուրեն Մանուկյանը: Հյուրերը ծաղկեպսակ դրեցին հուշահամալիրի մոտ, ծաղիկներ խոնարհեցին անմար կրակի առջև, որից հետո շրջայց կատարեցին նոր վերանորոգված թանգարան-ինստիտուտում:

Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարան-ինստիտուտի փոխտնօրեն Սուրեն Մանուկյանը Դոնալդ Տուսկին նվիրեց «Հայոց ցեղասպանության լուսաբանումը համաշխարհային մամուլի առաջին էջերին» և «100 լուսանկարչական պատմություններ Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին» գրքերը:

Եվրոպական խորհրդի նախագահ Դոնալդ Տուսկը հուլիսի 20-22-ը տարածաշրջանային այցով ժամանել է Հարավային Կովկաս: Տուսկի այցը մեկնարկել է Հայաստանից, որտեղ նախատեսված են Եվրոպական խորհրդի նախագահի հանդիպումները ՀՀ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի, վարչապետ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանի հետ: Ի պատիվ Եվրոպական խորհրդի նախագահի այցի՝ Սերժ Սարգսյանի անունից կտրվի աշխատանքային ճաշ, որին կնախորդի Դոնալդ Տուսկի և Սերժ Սարգսյանի համատեղ մամուլի ասուլիսը:

Երևանում Տուսկը հանդիպում կունենա նաև ընդդիմադիր կուսակցությունների ներկայացուցիչների հետ: Նույն օրը երեկոյան Եվրոպական խորհրդի նախագահը կմեկնի Վրաստան, իսկ հուլիսի 22-ին կլինի Ադրբեջանում:
