Հայաստանում կրթության ոլորտի կարեւորագույն խնդիրներից է ավագ դպրոցի ծանրաբեռնվածության թեթեւացումն է եւ մագիստրատուրայում կրթության որակի բարելավումը, աշխատաշուկայի հետ դրա կապը ապահովելը։ Այս մասին մարտի 11-ին կայացած մամուլի ասուլիսին ասել է կրթության եւ գիտության նախարար Լեւոն Մկրտչյանը։
Նրա խոսքով՝ կրթության ոլորտում այդ երկու կառույցները՝ ավագ դպրոցներն ու մագիստրատուրան ոչ մի կերպ չեն կարողանում ինքնահաստատվել։ «Ավագ դպրոցը պետք է դառնա այն վայրը, որտեղ աշակերտին օգնում են նախնական մասնագիտացում ձեռք բերել։ Սակայն ավագ դպրոցներում առարկաներով ներկայիս ծանրաբեռնվածությունը թույլ չի տալիս դա անել։ Մենք պետք է թեթեւացնենք ավագ դպրոցների ծանրաբեռնվածությունը, որպեսզի նրանք դառնան աշակերտներին մասնագիտացում ձեռք բերելուն օգնող կենտրոններ։ Հենց նման ծանրաբեռնվածության պատճառով ծնողները չեն ցանկանում, որ երեխաները գնան ավագ դպրոց։ Փորձում են կենտրոնացնել ուշադրությունը մի քանի առարկաների վրա, որոնք պետք են լինելու ԲՈՒՀ ընդունվելիս»,- ասել է նախարարը՝ նշելով, որ այդ խնդրի լուծման համար հատուկ խորհրդակցություններ կհրավիրվեն։
Ինչ վերաբերում է 12-ամյա դպրոցական կրթության կապակցությամբ եղած դժգոհությանը, ապա նախարարի խոսքով՝ այդ դժգոհությունը անհիմն է, քանի որ ողջ աշխարհում 12-ամյա կրթությունն ընդունված պրակտիկա է։ «10-ամյա դպրոցական կրթության մասին վկայականը չի ընդունվի աշխարհի ոչ մի երկրում»,- ասել է Մկրտչյանը՝ «աչքաթող» անելով, որ ԵՏՄ երկրներում, ադ թվում՝ Ռուսաստանում, կրթությունը 11-ամյա է։
Նախարարը նաեւ խոստովանել է, որ Հայաստանում ավելի քան 20 տարի գործող մագիստրատուրան մատուցող կրթության որակով ոչ մի բանով չի տարբերվում բակալավրում ստացած կրթության որակից։ «Մագիստրատուրայում կրթությունը իր բովանդակությամբ ոչ մի կերպ ուսանողին չի կապում աշխատաշուկայի հետ։ Օրենքում նշվում է, որ բակալավրը լիարժեք բարձրագույն կրթություն է։ Դա նշանակում է, որ ընդունվելով մագիստրատուրա՝ ուսանողը պետք է նոր մակարդակի կրթություն ստանա։ Սակայն հաճախ մագիստրատուրան կրկնում է բակալավրի աստիճանը»,- ասել է նախարարը։
