«Անհայտ զինվոր» նախագծի հեղինակն ասում է, որ իր ֆոտոպատմությունը ոչ թե պատերազմի մասին է, այլ հակառակը, այն մասին, թե ինչ է դրանից հետո մնում, իրականություններ, որոնք ավելի վաղ թվում էին անիրական,- հայտնում է Past.am-ը:
3 տարի շարունակ լուսանկարիչը լուսանկարում էր ամերիկացի զինվորականների, ովքեր հաշմանդամ էին դարձել Իրաքում ու Աֆղանստանում: Իր հերոսներին նա այցելում էր նրանց տներում ու հոսպիտալներում:
1. Սերժանտ Ռոբերտ Հենլայն: Մեքենան, որով նա գնում էր, ռումբից տրաքել էր: Նա միակ ողջ մնացածն է:
2. Բանակային մասնագետ Ջերալ Հենքոք: Մեքենան պայթել էր ռումբից Իրաքում:
3. Լեյտենանտ Նիքոլաս Ջոն Վոգտ: 2011 թվականին մեքենան ինքնաշեն ռումբի հետևանքով պայթել էր Աֆղանստանում:

5. Մասնագետ Ռոբերտ Բերնյե: Տուժել է հրանոթի հարվածից: Մարմնի 60 տոկոսն այրվել է:
6. Մայոր Մեթ Սմիթ: 2013 թվականին Աֆղանստանում նրա ուղղությամբ կրակ էր բացել Աֆղանստանի ազգային բանակի անդամը: Ոտքն անդամահատվել է:
7. Մայքլ Ֆոքս, 2011-ին տուժել է Աֆղանստանում պարեկություն անելիս:
