2015 թվականին Սիրիայում հումանիտար իրադրությունը դարձել Է վատթարագույնը հակամարտության հինգ տարվա ընթացքում, զոհվել են տասնյակ հազարավոր մարդիկ, շուրջ մեկ միլիոն բնակիչներ հարկադրված են եղել լքել իրենց տները: Այդ մասին, ասված Է Սիրիայում աշխատող CARE Interna tional, Oxfam, Action Aid, Save The Children հումանիտար կազմակերպությունների եւ Սրիրիայի մի շարք ոչ կառավարական կազմակերպությունների միացյալ զեկույցում:
«2015 թվականին Սիրիայի տարածքում զոհվել Է առնվազն 50 հազար մարդ: Գրեթե մեկ միլիոն սիրիացիներ հարկադրված են եղել փախչել, 1,5 միլիոն բնակիչներ Էլ կախված են մարդասիրական օգնության մատակարարումներից»,- մեջբերումներ Է անում Deutsche Welleհեռուստառադիոընկերությունը մարտի 11-ին հրապարակված "Fueling the Fire" զեկույցից:
Սիրիայում 2011 թվականի մարտից ի վեր շարունակվում Է զինված հակամարտությունը պաշտոնական իշխանությունների եւ ընդդիմության միջեւ: ՄԱԿ-ի տվյալներով՝ զոհվել Է ավելի քան 220 հազար մարդ: Փախստականների հիմնական մասը գտնվում Է հարեւան պետությունների տարածքում:
