Բրիտանացի գիտնականները նոր հայտնագործություն են արել: Լոնդոնի համալսարանի քոլեջի հետազոտողները պարզել են տան մարտկոցների ջերմաստիճանի և մարդու քաշի միջև կախվածությունը:
Պարզվել է, որ ինչքան տաք են տան մարտկոցները, այնքան ավելի դժվար է պայքարել ավելորդ քաշի դեմ: Պատճառը բավականին պարզ է. գտնվելով հարմարավետ պայմաններում` մարդու մարմինը դադարում է ջերմություն արտադրել, ինչն անհրաժեշտ է ցուրտ եղանակի ժամանակ մարմինը պաշտպանելու համար: Դա նշանակում է, որ կալորիաները դադարում են այրվել ճիշտ ձևով:
Մարմինը նաև հակազդում է կենտրոնական ջեռուցմանը և քաղաքակրթության այլ բարիքներին, որոնցից են, օրինակ, բնակարանների երկշերտ և եռաշերտ պատուհանները: Այդ իսկ պատճառով, պնդում են բրիտանացի գիտնականները, ժամանակակից, հարմարավետ բնակարաններում ապրում են քաշի ավելցուկով ավելի շատ մարդիկ: Հատկապես այս կախվածությունը նկատելի է զարգացած երկրներում, որտեղ բնակարանների միջին ջերմաստիճանը տարեցտարի աճում է:
Լոնդոնի Համալսարանական քոլեջի գիտնականների հետազոտությունները ևս մեկ անգամ փաստում են, որ ինչքան ավելի տաք տեղ է գտնվում մարդը, այնքան ավելի քիչ ճարպ է այրվում:
Այսպիսով, նրանք, ովքեր ուզում են նիհարել, պետք է ուշադրություն դարձնեն ոչ միայն դիետաներին և սպորտով զբաղվելուն, այլև հետևեն ջերմաստիճանային ռեժիմին:
