Եվրախորհրդարանի պատգամավորները հորդորել են եվրոպական դիվանագիտության ղեկավար Ֆեդերիկա Մոգերինիին Նադեժդա Սավչենկոյի գործի կապակցությամբ անհատական պատժամիջոցներ սահմանել Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի ու եւս 28 անձանց նկատմամբ:
57 խորհրդարանականների կողմից գրված նամակը թվարկում Է նրանց, ովքեր, եվրապատգամավորների կարծիքով, «պատասխանատու են Սավչենկոյի առեւանգման, նրան Ռուսաստանի տարածք տեղափոխելու, այստեղ անօրինականորեն պահելու եւ կեղծ մեղադրանքներ ներկայացնելու քաղաքական որոշման համար»: Նաեւ, քաղաքական գործիչների կարծիքով, պատժամիջոցներ պետք Է սահմանվեն նրանց նկատմամբ, ովքեր պատասխանատու են «համաշխարհային հանրության աչքում Ռուսաստանի գործողությունների օրինականացման» համար:
Պուտինից բացի, այդ ցուցակում տեղ են գտել Ռուսաստանի Անվտանգության դաշնային ծառայության ղեկավար Ալեքսանդր Բորտնիկովը, Պետդումայի միջազգային գործերի կոմիտեի ղեկավար Ալեքսեյ Պուշկովը, Հետաքննչական կոմիտեի ղեկավար Ալեքսանդր Բաստրիկինը, ինքնահռչակ Լուգանսկի Ժողովրդական Հանրապետության առաջնորդ Իգոր Պլոտնիցկին, ինչպես նաեւ մի խումբ քննիչներ, դատավորներ եւ այլ անձինք: Ուղերձն իր Twitter-ում զետեղել Է լեհ եվրապատգամավոր Յացեկ Սարիուշ-Վոլսկին:
Քաղաքական գործիչները գտնում են, որ պատժամիջոցները պետք Է ներառեն եվրոպական այցագրերի տրամադրման արգելք, ակտիվների սառեցում եւ ամբողջ ունեցվածքի բռնագրավում Եվրամիության տարածքում:
