ԱՄՆ-ի նախկին առաջին տիկին եւ պետքարտուղար դեմոկրատ Հիլարի Քլինթոնը եւ հանրապետական միլիարդատեր Դոնալդ Թրամփն Էլ ավելի են ամրապնդել իրենց դիրքերը ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահական մրցարշավում: Մարտի 8-ին ԱՄՆ-ի չորս նահանգներում՝ հանրապետականների եւ երկու նահանգներում՝ դեմոկրատների ներկուսակցական քվեարկության հերթական փուլի արդյունքում նր անք երկուսն Էլ քվեատուների ձայների թվաքանակով մեծացրել են իրենց առավելությունը մրցակիցների նկատմամբ:
Ինչպես եւ սպասվում Էր, Քլինթոնը իր միակ մրցակցից՝ Վերմոնտի նահանգից սենատոր Բեռնի Սանդերսից, Միսիսիպի հարավային նահանգում առաջ Է անցել աֆրոամերիկացիների եւ կանանց աջակցությամբ: Դրա հետ մեկտեղ նա նվազագույն տարբերությամբ Սանդերսին զիջել Է ավելի խոշոր Միչիգանի նահանգում: Այդուհանդերձ, քվեատուների ձայների առավելությունը Քլինթոնի կողմում Է Դեմոկրատական կուսակցությունում քվեարկության արդյունքներով մանդատների համամասնական բաշխման գործող համակարգի պատճառով:
Թրամփն իր հերթին անվերապահ հաղթանակ Է տարել Միսիսիպիում եւ Միչիգանում՝ դրանով իսկ ցուցադրելով անխոցելիությունը քարոզչական այն գրոհի ֆոնին, որը վերջին օրերին նրա դեմ ծավալվել Է Հանրապետական կուսակցության վերնախավի եւ նրա առավել պահպանողական թեւի կողմից:
Երեքշաբթի պայքարն ընթանում Էր Միչիգանում եւ Միսիսիպիում, բայց ողջ ուշադրությունն արդեն բեռեւված Է Օհայոյի եւ Ֆլորիդայի նահանգներին: Եվ բանը միայն այն չԷ, որ մարտի 9-ին եւ 10-ին Մայամիում տեղի կունենան երկու կուսակցությունների նախընտրական բանավեճերի հերթական փուլերը: Գլխավորն այն Է, որ հենց այդ երկու նահանգներում մեկ շաբաթից պետք Է պարզվի ուժերի դասավորությունը հանրապետական նախընտրական մրցարշավի եզրափակիչ հատվածում:
Դրա երկու մասնակիցների՝ Օհայոյի նահանգապետ Ջոն Քեյսիկի եւ Ֆլորիդայից սենատոր Մարկ Ռուբիոյի համար մարտի 15-ը ըստ Էության վերջնասահմանն Է: Եթե կուսակիցները նրանց չաջակցեն հայրենի նահանգներում, ապա, դատելով ըստ ամենայնի, երկուսն Էլ պետք Է դուրս գան մրցարշավից, քանի որ մյուս նահանգներում Էլ նրանք հաջողության չեն հասել: Քեյսիկն արդեն հայտարարել Է, որ իրադարձությունների նման զարգացման դեպքում այդպես Էլ կվարվի եւ հորդորել Է իր մրցակցին նույնն անել, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
