ԱՄՆ պետդեպը դատապարտել է թուրքական իշխանությունների գործողություններն ընդդիմադիր ԶԼՄ-ների նկատմամբ

Միացյալ Նահանգների պետդեպարտամենտն իր մտահոգությունն է հայտնել Թուրքիայում մամուլի ազատությունը խաթարող վերջին զարգացումների առնչությամբ: Այս մասին լրագրողների հետ ամենօրյա ճեպազրույցի ընթացքում խոսել է ԱՄՆ պետդեպի խոսնակ Ջոն Քիրբին:
«Կածում եմ, այս ամենը Թուրքիայում լրագրության անտեղի ճնշման հերթական օրինակն է: Մենք ևս մեկ անգամ անհանգստացած ենք կառավարության կողմից իշխանություններին քննադատող լրատվամիջոցի խմբագրական գործերին միջամտելու նպատակով վերակացու նշանակելու փաստի առնչությամբ: Դատարանի որոշմամբ ֆինանսների և գործարքների նկատմամբ վերահսկողությունը չի ենթադրում փոփոխություններ լրագրողական սենյակում կամ խմբագրական քաղաքականության մեջ: Մենք կրկին հորդորում ենք թուրքական կառավարությանը լիակատար հարգանք ցուցաբերել գործընթացի նկատմամբ օրենքի« շրջանակում»,- ասել է Քիրբին:
Թուրք իրավապահները մարտի 4-ին բռնի ներխուժել էին Ֆեթուլլահ Գյուլենինը համարվող «Զաման» պարբերականի խմբագրությունը և ստամբուլյան դատարանի որոշմամբ այնտեղ վերակացու նշանակել: «Զաման»-ի մեծ թվով կողմնակիցներ նույն օրը երեկոյան հավաքվել են պարբերականի խմբագրատան շենքի մոտ` հայտնելու իրենց բողոքը կատարվածի առնչությամբ: Սակայն ոստիկանությունն արցունքաբեր գազի և ջրցան մեքենաների կիրառմամբ միջամտել է և փորձել ցրել հավաքվածների:
Թուրքիայում դատարանի որոշումով օրերս փակվել են Kanaltürk, Bugün TV հեռուստաալիքները, Gazetesi, Millet Gazetesi թերթերը եւ Kanaltürk Radyo ռադիոկայանը: ԶԼՄ-ները փակվել են Koza İpek Holding-ի գլխավոր գրասենյակում եւ 23 նրա ընկերությունների նկատմամբ քրեական գործի շրջանակում, որոնք, թուրքական իշխանությունների պնդմամբ, մեղադրվում են Ֆեթուլլահ Գյուլենի (ներկայում ԱՄՆ-ում բնակվող իսլամական գործիչ) շարժման ֆինանսավորման մեջ:
