 Հայաստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը հայտարարել է, որ Երեւանը Ռուսաստանի հետ կշարունակի սերտ համագործակցությունը ռազմական ու ռազմատեխնիկական ոլորտում: Այս մասին,  նախարարը հայտարարել է «Կոմերսանտ» թերթին տված հարցազրույցում:

Ավելի վաղ ՌԴ ԱԳ նախարարության պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչ Մարիա Զախարովան, մեկնաբանելով Հայաստանին զենքի մատակարարումների կապակցությամբ Բաքվի բողոքի նոտայի վերաբերյալ հաղորդումները, հայտարարել է, որ ինչպես Հայաստանին, այնպես էլ Ադրբեջանին զենքի բոլոր մատակարարումները ՌԴ-ի կողմից իրականացվում են տարածաշրջանում ուժերի հավասարակշռության պահպանման անհրաժեշտության խիստ հաշվառմամբ:

«Վերջին տարիներին Ադրբեջանը բազմակի ավելացրել է իր ռազմական ծախսերը: Մենք դաշնակցային ռազմավարական հարաբերություններ ունենք Ռուսաստանի հետ, շատ սերտ ռազմական, այդ թվում՝ ռազմատեխնիկական համագործակցություն: Ոչ ոքի համար գաղտնիք չէ, որ մենք զենք ենք գնում առաջին հերթին մեր ռազմավարական դաշնակցից, մենք այսուհետեւ էլ ամենասերտ կերպով փոխգործակցելու ենք Ռուսաստանի հետ ռազմատեխնիկական առումով»,- ասել է Հայաստանի ԱԳ նախարարը՝ մեկնաբանելով մեկնաբանելով Զախարովայի հայտարարությունը:

Ինչպես նշել է Նալբանդյանը, այն որ Ռուսաստանը՝ որպես զենքի խոշորագույն արտադրողներից մեկը, այն վաճառում է տարբեր երկրների, բնական է: Սակայն, ընդսմին, նրա խոսքով, Հայաստանը չի կարող «հիացմունք ապրել» այն բանից, որ Ադրբեջանը զենք է գնում եւ դրա հետ մեկտեղ սպառնում սանձազերծել նոր պատերազմ:

«Մեզ չի կարող դուր գալ, որ զենքը գնվում է մեր դաշնակցից, որը շատ ջանքեր է գործադրում Հայաստանի հետ գործակցելու համար, այդ թվում եւ ՀԱՊԿ-ի շրջանակներում»,- հայտարարել է Նալբանդյանը:
