Մի հիանալի օր 24-ամյա բրիտանացի Ստի Ուոկերին ձանձրացրեցին իրեն ուղղված թարս հայացքները, որոնց նա արժանանում էր, երբ իր մեքենան կայանում էր սահմանափակ ունակություններով մարդկանց համար նախատեսված վայրում: Այդ ժամանակ նա իր Facebook-ի էջում հրապարակեց իր մերկ լուսանկարը և արեց հետյալ գրառումը.

«Մեր օրերում մարդիկ սովորել են քննադատել ուրիշներին հաշված վայրկյանների ընթացքում: Միայն այն պատճառով, որ ես նորմալ տեսք ունեմ և իմ խոսակցականի հետ ամեն ինչ կարգին է, նրանք կարծում են, որ ինձ հետ ամեն ինչ նորմալ է, ես լավ եմ: Դա զարմանալի չէ, քանի որ ես այնպիսի տեսք ունեմ, ինչպես ցանկացած իմ հասակակից երիտասարդը, բայց դա միայն այն պատճառով է, որ ես ցանկանում եմ, որ մարդիկ ինձ տեսնեն այդպիսին: Մի քիչ ուշադիր նայեք ինձ, մի քանի հարց տվեք ինձ, և շուտով դուք կհասկանաք, որ ես շատ մեծ առողջական խնդիրներ ունեմ»:

Ստին չի ցանկանում, որ իրեն խղճան, կամ իր մասին խոսի ողջ աշխարհը: Իր արարքով նա միայն ցանկանում է յուրաքանչյուրի ուշադրությանն արժանացնել այն փաստը, որ եթե նրանք չեն տեսնում մարդու հիվանդության ակնհայտ նշաններ, դա չի նշանակում, որ նա չի տառապում: Ամենակարևոր բանը աչքերով չեք տեսնի:
