1876 թ. - Ալեքսանդր Բելլը արտոնագրեց հեռախոսի գյուտը։
1967 թ. - ԽՍՀՄ-ը անցավ հնգօրյա աշխատանքային շաբաթվա ռեժիմի՝ երկու հանգստյան օրով։
1981 թ. - բացվեց Երևանի մետրոպոլիտենի «Բարեկամություն» կայարանը։
