Լոնդոնի քաղաքագլուխը ԵՄ-ից Մեծ Բրիտանիայի դուրս գալը նմանեցրել է բանտից ազատվելուն

Լոնդոնի քաղաքագլուխ Բորիս Ջոնսոնի կարծիքով՝ համազգային հանրաքվեի արդյունքում Եվրամիության կազմից Մեծ Բրիտանիայի դուրս գալը կնմանվի բանտից ազատվելուն: Այդ մասին երկրի մայրաքաղաքի ղեկավարը, որը եվրասկեպտիկների քարոզչական արշավի առաջնորդներից մեկն Է, հայտարարել Է BBC հեռուստառադիոհաղորդումների կորպորացիային տված հարցազրույցում:
«Դա նման Է այն բանին, ասես կալանավորը բաց Է թողել բանտի դուռը, եւ մարդիկ կարողացել են սահմանագծից այն կողմ տեսնել լույսով ողողված երկիրը»,-իրեն հատուկ պատկերավորությամբ մեկնաբանել Է Ջոնսոնը:
Նա նաեւ մեծ մտահոգություն Է հայտնել մարտի 4-ին Մեծ Բրիտանիայի առեւտրական պալատների գլխավոր տնօրեն Ջոն Լոնգուորթին պաշտոնից ժամանակավորապես հեռացնելու որոշման կապակցությամբ՝ ԵՄ-ի կազմից Միացյալ Թագավորության դուրս գալը բացահայտորեն պաշտպանելու պատճառով: Քաղաքագլուխը նշել Է, որ վերջին 20 տարվա ընթացքում ԵՄ-ի երկրներում դեռ ոչ մի գործարար ղեկավարի նման առիթով պաշտոնաթողության չեն հարկադրել, եւ որ Լոնգուորթը տուժել Է այն բանի համար, որ Մեծ Բրիտանիայի՝ ավելի լավ ապագա ունենալու հնարավորության «լավատեսական հայացքներ» Է հայտնել:
