94 տարեկան հասակում մահացել է ԱՄՆ-ի նախկին առաջին տիկին Նենսի Ռեյգանը, տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով TMZ պորտալին: Մահը վրա է հասել սրտի սուր անբավարարության հետեւանքով: ԱՄՆ-ի 40-րդ նախագահի այրու մահվան լուրը հաստատել են հանգուցյալի ընկերները:

Նենսի Ռեյգանին հողին կհանձնեն ամուսնու կողքին՝ Կալիֆոռնիայի Նախագահական գրադարանում: Կյանքի վերջին տարիները Նենսին անցկացրել է Լոս Անջելեսում:

2011 թվականին հաղորդվել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ի առաջին տիկինների թվում ամերիկացիների շրջանում առավել մեծ ժողովրդականություն էր վայելում Ռոնալդ Ռեյգանի այրին: Այն ժամանակ Նենսիի օգտին քվեարկել էր հարցման մասնակիցների 24 տոկոսը: Երկրորդ տեղը բաժին էր հասել Հիլարի Քլինթոնին, եռյակը եզրափակում էր գործող նախագահի կինը՝ Միշել Օբաման:

Նենսի Ռեյգանը (Աննա Ֆրենսիս Ռոբինսը) ծնվել է 1921 թվականի հուլիսի 6-ին Նյու Յորքում: Երեխայի լույս աշխարհ գալուց կարճ ժամանակ անց նրա ծնողները բաժանվել են: Աղջիկը դաստիարակվել է ազգականների կողմից: 14-ամյա հասակում նրան որդեգրել է հայտնի նյարդավիրաբույժ Լոյալ Դեւիսը, այնուհետեւ նա սկսել է կրել խորթ հոր ազգանունը եւ իրեն կոչել Է Նենսի անունով: 20-րդ դարի կեսին նա խաղացել է հոլիվուդյան մի շարք ֆիլմերում, իսկ 1952 թվականի մարտի 6-ին ամուսնացել ԱՄՆ-ի ապագա նախագահ Ռոնալդ Ռեյգանի հետ: Զույգն ունեցել է երկու երեխա: Նենսի Ռեյգանն առաջին տիկինն է եղել 1 981-ից մինչեւ 1989 թվականը: Նրա ամուսինը մահացել է 2004 թվականի հունիսի 5-ին, վերջին տարիներին նա տառապում էր Ալցհեյմերի հիվանդությամբ:
