«Չորրորդ իշխանություն» թերթը գրում է. «Սահմանադրական բարեփոխումների մասնագիտական հանձնաժողովի անդամ Վարդան Պողոսյանը հայտարարել է, թե հնարավոր է՝ ԱԺ պատգամավորները հայոց լեզվի իմացության քննություն կամ թեստ անցնեն:
«ՉԻ» - Լավ, հասկացանք, չեք ուզում, որ Գալուստ Սահակյանը շարունակի մնալ ԱԺ նախագահ՝ էդպես էլ ասեք, ի՞նչ եք սար ու ձոր ընկնում: Իսկ Շմայսի դեպքում դա ընդհանրապես ոչ միայն մարդու իրավունքների կոպտագույն ոտնահարում է, այլեւ հակասում է խոշտանգումներն արգելելու վերաբերյալ Ժնեւյան կոնվենցիային: Ո՞վ է ձեզ իրավունք տվել գիտափորձեր անցկացնել ազգի ընտրյալների վրա:
Եվ ընդհանրապես՝ հայոց լեզվի իմացության ստուգումը կարելի է գնահատել որպես ներքաղաքական կայունությունը խարխլելու չարանենգ փորձ: Եթե պատգամավոր ընտրվելու իրավունք ստանան միայն հայոց լեզվին տիրապետողները, ՀՀԿ-ն ԱԺ-ում երբեք մեծամասնություն չի ունենա՝ անկախ ընտրությունների ժամանակ ստացած տոկոսներից: Հետեւաբար՝ այդ նորմը կարող է խարխլել մեր պետականության հիմքերը:
