2015 թվականին աշխարհում հայտնաբերվել են ավելի քան 600 նոր հոգեակտիվ նյութեր՝ 55 տոկոսով ավելի, քան մեկ տարի առաջ: Այս մասին, ասված Է Թմրանյութերի վերահսկողության միջազգային կոմիտեի (ԹՎՄԿ)՝ մարտի 2-ին ներկայացված զեկույցում: ՄԱԿ-ի այս մասնագիտացված հիմնարկությունը, որը գտնվում Է Վիե ննայում, հետեւում Է աշխարհում թմրադեղերի եւ հոգեմետ նյութերի օրինական շրջանառությանը, ինչպես նաեւ աշխատում Է կանխել դրանց ապօրինի արտադրությունն ու տարածումը:
«2015 թվականի հոկտեմբերի դրությամբ, ԹՀՎ-ի (ՄԱԿ-ի Թմրանյութերի եւ հանցավորության վերահսկողության վարչության) խորհրդակցական խումբը, որը հետեւում Է նոր հոգեակտիվ նյութերի ի հայտ գալուն, որոնց մասին հաղորդում են անդամ պետությունները, հաստատել Է 602 եզակի սուբստանցիաներ՝ 55 տոկոսով ավելի, քան այն 388 նյութերը, որոնց մասին երկրները հայտնել Էին 2014 թվականին»,- ասված Է 128-Էջանոց զեկույցում: ԹՎՄԿ-ում ընդգծում են, որ նոր նյութերի մեծամասնությունը՝ գրեթե 40 տոկոսը, ինչպես եւ անցյալ տարի, դասվում Է սինթետիկ կանաբինոիդների տարակարգին: &nbs p;
ԹՎՄԿ-ի տվյալներով՝ Հյուսիսային Ամերիկան մնում Է թմրանյութերի գործածության հետեւանքով մահացության ամենաբարձր մակարդակն ունեցող տարածաշրջանը: 2013 թվականին տարածաշրջանի երեք երկրներում՝ Կանադայում, Մեքսիկայում եւ ԱՄՆ-ում, գերդոզավորումից եւ վատ սովորության առաջացրած հիվանդություններից մահացել Է 43 հազար 300 մարդ: Այսպիսով, մահացության մակարդակը կազմել Է 1 միլիոն բնակչի հաշվով 136,8 մահ՝ եռակի ավելի, քան միջին գլոբալ ցուցանիշը՝ 40 – 50 մահ 1 միլիոն մարդու հաշվով: Ըստ որում մոլորակի այն հինգ բնակիչներից մեկը, որոնք մահացել են թմրանյութերի գործածության հետեւանքով, բնակվել Է Միացյալ Նահանգներում, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
