Բնապահպաններն անհետացել են, կացնավորներն էլ՝ ավելացել

Քաղաքացիական հասարակության ակտիվության ցայտուն դրսևորումը բնապահպան ակտիվիստների ի հայտ գալն էր: 2012 թվականին խմբեր ձևավորվեցին, որոնք սկսեցին պայքար ծավելել մե՛կ Թեղուտի, մե՛կ Թռչկանի էկոհամակարգը պահպանելու համար, բնապահպանների երկարատև նստացույցներ եղան Մաշտոցի պուրակում, արդյունքում եղան թե' ձեռքբերումներ, ինչպիսին է, օրինակ՝ Մաշտոցի պուրակի պահպանում, թե' գրանցվեցին կորուստներ. բնապահպաններին չհաջողվեց կանխել Թեղուտի ծառահատումները:
Փաստը մնում է փաստ, որ բնապահպան ակտիվիստներին գոնե որոշ չափով հաջողվել էր զսպել բուսականությանը և բնության վրա «աչք դրած» գերատեսչությունների, անհատների, ձեռնարկությունների ախորժակը: Քաղաքացիական վերահսկողությունը ստիպում էր հաշվի նստել հանրության և լրատվամիջոցների հետ: Եթե ավելի վաղ յուրայինները կարող էին գրասենյակներում որոշել այս կամ այն անտառի ճակատագիրը, ապա բնապահպանական խնդիրներով մտահոգվածների ակտիվության ալիքի ճնշման տակ փորձում էին երկխոսության եզրեր գտնել: Սակայն այժմ, կարծես, վերադարձել ենք նույն վիճակին: Յուրայիններն էլ սկսել են կրկին հաշվի չնստել հասարակության հետ, այս կամ այն կանաչապատ տարածքը ամայացնելու որոշումները կնքում են թաքուն և հեռու հանության աչքից:
Տարիներ առաջ նրանց համար ահ ու սարսափ համարվող ակտիվիստներն այժմ չկան, հայտարարություններ չեն անում, խուսափում են լրագրողների հետ շփումներից, այլ կերպ ասած՝ չեն զբաղվում ակտիվ գործունեությամբ: Այս ամենից օգտվողներն այժմ բացահայտ ոչ միայն կտրում են որևէ սահմանամերձ գյուղի ծառերը, այլև անարգել կացնահարում են անգամ մայրաքաղաքի կենտրոնում գտնվող փոքրաթիվ ծառերը:
Դրա վառ ապացույցը Օպերայի տարածքում գտնվող «Սան-կաֆե» և «Ամերիկանո» սրճարաններն են, որոնց կտրված ծառերն այդպես էլ չտեսան բողոքի ցույցներ և կենդանի պատնեշ դարձած ակտիվիստների: Հենց ակտիվիստների նման լռության պատճառի արդյունքում է, որ անգամ գործարար շրջանակներում հայտնի պատգամավոր Գուրգեն Արսենյանը, մամուլի հրապարակումների համաձայն, «Ամերիկանո» սրճարանի բաժնետեր է և օրը ցերեկով կտրել է մայրաքաղաքի կենտրոնում հատուկենտ մնացած հաստաբուն ծառերը: Իսկ մինչ հանրությունը լռում է, նման յուրայիններին կհաջողվի դեռ շատ ծառեր կտրել՝ օգտվելով անպատժելիությունից: Գաղտնիք չէ՝ նման մարդկանց զսպել կարող է միայն հասարակական կոշտ արձագանքը, բողոքի ալիքը և բնապահպանական խնդիրներով մտահոգ հասարակությունը:
