1 տարի 11 ամսյա բանտարկությունից հետո 2011 թվականի մայիսի 27-ին համաներմամբ ազատ արձակվեցի «Արթիկ» քրեակատարողական հիմնարկից: Նկարում՝ իմ ազատության առաջին վայրկյաններն են:

Շնորհակալ եմ այն քաղաքական գործիչներին, քաղաքական ուժերին, անհատ քաղաքացիներին, ովքեր պայքարել են քաղբանտարկյալների, այդ թվում իմ ազատության համար:
Շնորհակալ եմ լրագրող գործընկերներիս, ովքեր հանրային ուշադրութան կենտրոնում են պահել քաղբանտարկյալների, այդ թվում իմ հարցը:
Շնորհակալ եմ բոլոր այն մարդկանց, ովքեր ընդհատակում ապահովել են իմ կեցությունը, անվտանգությունը եւ հաղորդակցությունը արտաքին աշխարհի հետ:
Շնորհակալ եմ Քրեակատարողական ծառայության այն աշխատակիցներին, ովքեր նույնիսկ ամենադժնդակ օրերին չեն կորցրել իրենց մարդկային դեմքը:
