Բրիտանական գիտնականները 2.000 հոգու մասնակցությամբ հետազոտություն են անցկացրել եւ պարզել, թե որ հանգամանքներ են կնոջն ու տղամարդուն առավելապես մղում սեռական մերձեցման: Արդյունքները միանգամայն անսպասելի էին:
Պարզվում է՝ կանայք ամենից շատ սեռական կյանքի են ձգտում նիհարելուց հետո: Երկրորդ տեղում սավանների թարմությունն է, երրորդ հորիզոնականը զբաղեցրել է գումար շահելը: Թույլ սեռի ներկայացուցիչներին սեռական մերձեցման է մղում նաեւ ընկերուհիների հետ անցկացրած երեկոն, տաք լոգանքն ու նոր սանրվածքը:
