Ժնևում աշխատանքային այցելությամբ գտնվող Հայաստանի արտգործնախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը փետրվարի 29-ին հանդիպում է ունեցել Շվեյցարիայի արտաքին գործերի դաշնային դեպարտամենտի ղեկավար Դիդիե Բուրկհալտերի հետ:

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից, Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը գոհունակություն է հայտնել հայ-շվեյցարական դինամիկ զարգացող հարաբերությունների առնչությամբ, որոնց լիցք է հաղորդում բարձր մակարդակով շարունակական երկխոսությունը:

Դիդիե Բուրկհալտերն իր հերթին նշել է, որ Շվեյցարիան կարևորում է բարեկամ Հայաստանի հետ հարաբերությունների սերտացումը:

Զրուցակիցները քննարկել  են երկկողմ համագործակցությանն առնչվող հարցերի լայն շրջանակ: Անդրադարձ է արվել առևտրատնտեսական, մշակութային ոլորտներում համագործակցությանը, խորհրդարանական կապերին, միջազգային կազմակերպությունների շրջանակներում փոխգործակցության սերտացմանը:

Հայաստանի և Շվեյցարիայի արտաքին քաղաքական գերատեսչությունների ղեկավարները քննարկել են տարածաշրջանային և միջազգային հրատապ խնդիրներ։ Հույս է հայտնվել, որ Սիրիայում հրադադարի մասին ռուս-ամերիկյան համատեղ հայտարարությունը ճանապարհ կհարթի Սիրիայում խաղաղություն և կայունություն վերահաստատելու համար:

Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը շվեյցարացի իր գործընկերոջը ներկայացրել է ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահության շրջանակներում ընթացող բանակցային գործընթացն` ուղղված ղարաբաղյան հիմնահարցի բացառապես խաղաղ կարգավորմանը:

Հանդիպման ավարտին Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանն ու Դիդիե Բուրկհալտերը ստորագրել են Հայաստանի Հանրապետության և Շվեյցարիայի Համադաշնության միջև մուտքի արտոնագրի տրամադրման կարգի դյուրացման մասին համաձայնագիրը:
