«Հայրենասիրությունն սկսվում է հայրենաճանաչողությունից»: Րաֆֆու թույլտվությամբ մենք մի փոքր փոխակերպեցինք նրա դիպուկ նկարագրությունը, քանզի միտված ենք այն օգտագործել բնութագրելու համար մեկ այլ իրողություն:

Օրերս մամուլում լուրեր տարածվեցին առ այն, որ Օպերայի և բալետի ազգային ակադեմիական թատրոնի տարածքում հաստաբուն ծառեր էին հատվել: Հետագայում ինֆորամացիան ամբողջացվեց և պարզվեց, որ տարածքը, որտեղ հատվել են ծառերը, պատկանում է միլիոնատեր, ԱԺ պատգամավոր, ՄԱԿ առաջնորդ Գուրգեն Արսենյանին և Կենտրոնի նախկին թաղապետ, նախկին ընդդիմադիր Արարատ Զուրաբյանին: Այստեղ շարքային պատճառաբանություններ չեն կարող լինել այն մասին, թե ծառերն արդեն իրենց տարիքն անցել էին, կամ դա արվում է առավել բարեկարգ Երևան ունենալու համար, կամ նման մեկ այլ պատճառաբանություն: Բոլոր նրանք, ովքեր փոքր-ինչ ծանոթ են այդ տարածքին, կարող են փաստել, որ ծառերը շատ լավ ծաղկում էին, իսկ ամռան տափին՝ զովացնում:

Հասկանալի է, որ ոմանց մոտ կարող է տարակուսանք առաջանալ, թե թողած լրջագույն խնդիրներն՝ անդրադառնում ենք ինչ-որ «մեկ-երկու ծառի» խնդրի: Բայց այդ ինչ-որ «մեկ-երկու ծառի» խնդիրը լրջագույն վերաբերմունքի խնդիր է: Ծառ տնկելը, խնամելը մտած է եղել մեր էթնիկ մշակույթի մեջ: Սա նաև ընկալումների խնդիր է: Ի վերջո՝ հայկական ավանդույթն ասում է, որ իսկական տղամարդը պետք է ծառ տնկի և ոչ թե ծառ կտրի: Եթե գործողությունը կատարված լիներ իշխանական ճամբարի որևէ ներկայացուցչի կողմից, ապա կարելի էր դրան վերաբերվել ոչ թե նորմալ, այլ՝ բնական, քանի որ ամենաթողության պարագայում հնարավոր է ամեն ինչ: Բայց երբ գործողությունը կատարվում է այնպիսի գործիչների տարածքում, ովքեր գոնե իրենց իշխանական ճամբարի մաս չեն համարում, ավելին` գեղեցիկ խոսքեր են ասում հայրենիքի, հայրենասիրության, սեփական երկրում արժանապատիվ ու ապահով ապրելու և ստեղծագործելու մասին (տես Պետրոս Ղազարյանի «Հայկական ուրբաթ» հաղորդաշարի 26.02.2016 թ. Գուրգեն Արսենյանի մասնակցությամբ հաղորդումը), առնվազն տարակուսանք է առաջացնում:

Անհասկանալի է նաև այն հանգամանքը, որ դեպքը տեղի է ունեցել օրը ցերեկով: Այսինքն՝ կան մարդիկ, ովքեր տեսել են դա: Իսկ արձագա՞նքը: Արձագանքը միայն ահազանգե՞լն էր: Ցանկացած ցիվիլ երկրում, եթե նման բան տեղի ունենար հասարակության աչքի առջև, ապա կարժանանար համանման վերաբերմունքի, սակայն այլ են ընկալումներ մեզանում:

Այսպիսով՝ եթե ոչ իշխանական ճամբարում ներառվածի համարում ունեցող անձիք կարող են իրենց նման արարք ցույց տալ, ապա էլ ի՞նչ սպասել իշխանական թևից: Ի վերջո՝ հայրենասիրությունը պարզապես ճառերով չէ, այն ամենօրյա խնամք է սեփական երկրի, սեփական քաղաքացու, այդ քաղաքացու կողմից ստեղծած արժեքների՝ այդ թվում ծառերի նկատմամբ:
